A bitcoin was worth $20000 in 2017
Now 5 years later a bitcoin it's worth $16000.

However adjusted for inflation it's worth more like $7000-8000 in 2017 money.

Could you have ever imagined your bitcoin bags that you bought around 10k in 2017 will be worth almost half 5 years later?

A bitcoin was "worth" 20k for approximately 1-2 days at the peak of the 2017 bubble. Of course disingenous faggots like you will use the absolute peak as the prior point of reference instead of some sort of average price to present your misleading argument.

>MUH CHERRY PICKED DATES
Absolute cringe cope

Bitcoin got outperformed by the S&P 500 and by a boomer index fund like the Nasdaq over the span of half a decade. If they told you Bitcoin would have been worth 16k in 2023 you wouldn't have bought it

If you cherry pick the starting points, yes. I can cherry pick starting points that prove the opposite. Shoo shoo, kike.

I know it's tough for you to understand because you weren't even there at the time, the complete newfaggot that you are, but until even October 2017 bitcoin was no higher than 5k. Between Oct-Dec it went from 5k to 20k and spent all of 1-2 months above 5k before crashing back down in early February. If you want to use that tiny aberration as your starting point, go for it, but don't get all butthurt when you're rightfully called out on your kike behaviour by your superiors.

I believe it's fair to say that anyone who thinks like this is a pedophile. Because if you're a child, and you have income, the only way you can carry that money into adulthood is with Bitcoin. Fiat is a tool for exploiting children. Same goes for fiat investments like stocks and real estate, because those strategies are out of reach for kids.

Bitcoin hype died after all the stunts were exhausted. Ico bubble. Defi. Elon musk. Dog coins. Exchanges. Bitmex. You name it. Now people are woke. Crypto is a scam. It could be useful but it was hijacked by investors the central banks.

Bitcoin and crypto is another "what could have been" story.

Why do so many midwits don't understand that Proof-of-work as a consensus protocol is the innovation, and only innovation in the entire "crypto" space? If you don't understand PoW let this gigabrain explain it to you https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ikPnr23h7qg
