Noob question:
Whether it's using silver for barter or exchanging it for a new silver-backed dollar (just scenarios I've read about in my short time with stacking threads) how realistic are these concerns?
>if exchanging for goods people might be inclined to charge you more for coins/rounds representing nations other than your own
>if exchanging for a new SBD a slight fee is applied to any silver not made by your government's mint due to needing someone to check it since it lacks the security features of your nation's mint
Maybe those are silly concerns but I've seen nationalism get in the way of all sorts of things, as well as fees for the strangest things.

I'd like to buy gold and silver but I'm absolutely scared of being counterfeits, especially counterfeited gold. That would be unforgiving...
I know the Royal Mint has some anti-counterfeit technology/precautions like Bullion DNA

Is this a good product for the schizos like me?

>Land seeds and guns

I make some side-hustle income selling packs of seeds (and dried prepared herb in some cases) that I collect from wild plants. The market for normal garden vegetable seeds is saturated and not worth bothering with, but there are lots of wild medicinal, aromatic and edible plants which the big suppliers don't carry. $4 to $20 per pack isn't going to make you rich but there have been years I've made over $15-20k from stuff I collect for free and which grows back every year, I think it's pretty cool. In 2020 one plant I sell which doesn't grow around me (I found a 3 acre wild patch near my parents' house) was found to be an effective antiviral covid herb and sold like hotcakes, it's one of the easiest seeds to harvest so I had my dad spend 6 hours collecting me enough seed in November to make 8,000 $4 packets, I sell $10 and $20 bulk packs too but hopefully won't run out again. Most plants don't enjoy enough demand combined with limited established supply to make it particularly lucrative but many species can provide several grand per year in extra income, and being familiar with seed saving practices and wild plant identification generally is a good skill. For example if any of you can find nearby wild American Ground-nut seeds and tubers those will be lucrative. People even buy dried kudzu root, you southern fellas could fill a truck with the shit. I pump seed/herb money into PMs, so sometimes real money *does* grow on trees.

is there anything that passes a tungsten test other than drilling directly into the coin? I don't buy anything large than 1/4th oz with gold due to the tungsten scare, it's not worth the process for smaller coins.

Why do poorfags spend so much money on rocks (precious metals), guns (things that throw rocks really fast) and bullets (throwable rocks)?

You ever notice that 99% of people who screech about gun rights and ammo shortages in America are those who are working class or poorer? Really makes you think. Their entire life revolves around using rocks, it’s like they haven’t evolved past being cavemen
