Damn it, I've been thinking about DAO system in blockchain. Seems like the validators with millions of tokens have better chances of hijacking ecosystem proposals to their liking or disliking.
Cosmos, Cardano, Ethereum, Polkadot and other top chains should do better

DAO is freaking okay for me. Have some bunch of tokens and do whatever the hell you want. It's a decentralized shit so smart contracts play a role not some fucking centralized entity or government

Most DAOs are controlled by whales, you just have the ones that are solid and it's for everyone. Once you've found a project that interests you, there are several ways to get involved.

>> No.52701412

The autonomy of whales controlling DAOs seems to be a thing of the past. I don't think whales still have any major impact on the voting system. One person is entitled to one vote. That's the civilized way of doing things.

If I eventually happen to participate, this will make it my first voting on Juno as well but what is designed to keep projects on Juno? how can an entrepreneur build a sustainable project with Juno as the focus? Dao Dao is a great tool, but you can't create sustainable revenue yet on Juno, I may be wrong but this is where the focus needs to be. They have strong projects building on them but they need to work more on their support system.

With CEX failing, DeFi growth could lead crypto to much-needed growth. Loop happens to be among the DeFi projects that have been remarkable in this Crypto winter. I don't see why any Juno holder shouldn't cast a YES vote for them. It takes nothing to show an act of kindness.
