They'd probably just go to work and intentionally do a terrible job, abuse equipment, damage shit, and just generally try to sabotage everything as much as possible. Then when it's clear that even if you can force people to work you can't force them to do it well (and assuming shit gets bad enough) they'd just nationalize the railroads and probably send in national guard members to run the railroads until proper staff could be acquired. I don't see anyway this doesn't all end up being an Amtrak scenario except for freight carriers this time, aside from all the workers and unions completely bitching out and bending over.

There's a ton of ways to make a train break or do terrible shit, ain't wise to piss them fellas off.

So how do market makers actually influence the price. Retail isn't smart nor rich enough to break through sell or buy walls.

Market makers compete against each other to get better prices and are constantly holding billions of the security, so they dont really scale in or out entirely, they're just scalping. Why would they allow the market to go to such extreme discounts and over priced levels?

Understanding market makers is probably they key to a successful trader, but I just can't get it.

Market makers trade at near the speed of light and they see your trades before you even get a confirmation on your screen that they have been sent.

But the time the info gets to your computer for your platform to even begin to think about rendering the trade confirmation the market makers have taken and hedged the trade at a profit. Before and tick even renders on your screen their portfolio has already filled trades hedging the deltas change. When you go to close it they see your order, fill it and the corresponding closing hedge before you even get confirmation that the order was closed.

It happens in milliseconds. Literally faster than the speed of light can reach your house from New York or Chicago cause they trade at near the speed of light from those locations.

A fraction of a penny per share/contract means nothing to you but for them and the volume they do it’s billions of dollars per year.

Prop trading or (proprietary trading) is what you are referring to. That’s the big heebs placing large bets on insider information and hunches. It’s just Jews Jewing Jews really. Like Yid #1 things the AMC squeeze is real so he piles in whereas Yid #2 things the goyim will liquidate so he shorts it.

There is really no telling what the prop traders will do unless you are a member of the tribe and their specific clubs. They Jew each other and do it with other peoples money. By the time anything they do is made public it’s been done.

Most railroads have their employees on a points system which means if you miss more than like one or two days (especially if they're high impact days like superbowl sunday or leading up to the holidays) you get fired. Working for any railroad in the US that isn't some tourist trap running a steam excursion thrice a month is literal wage slavery, they might as well just nationalize the shit and have soldiers run the trains if they're going to hold them to the same kind of standards - at least those fuckers signed a contract and knew what they were getting into, shit like this put me off pursuing a career in railroading almost the second I did any research in it and talked to a couple engineers and conductors. They get shafted, hard, just like the truckers got shafted last year. I'd give it 60/40 odds they still strike anyways or go back to work and intentionally sabotage shit rather than just bending over the table and taking it up the ass like they've been told.
>>52688783
It's really not that hard - you pick forward or reverse, there's a throttle, and maybe the dynamic braking systems take a minute to explain to someone but you could take any of the NG's and within a few days to a week have them competent enough to send out on the mainline - have the scabs that stay on train them in ridealongs on the most critical freight and then send 'em out. They'd do a slapdash job compared to people that did it for a living but it'd be a damn sight better than no trains or some pissed engineer "having an accident" that ends up costing hundreds of millions if not billions with delays and shutting down a mainline in the process.

ok well let's just use the name prop traders then

the prop traders conspire to put the price at a certain point by anchoring it with a small trade at the start of the day or pre/after market hours. Then let market makers trade within the range that the PROPS decide.

slowly they manipulate the price and retail trades even just 100k out of the 4 million shares traded then they can acquire all the 100k retail sold shares at a low price. eventually they do the reverse and push it upwards to sell into buy orders at their inflated prices

I really doubt institutions were stupid enough in the pandemic to sell their blue chips at like a 1:1 book ratio. I had a company basically at that cheap valuation and it was a 10b company so not even that small.

Basically I am thinking the prices have to be artificially lowered to induce panic selling and fleece retail. And these are all documented methods illegality with many traders arrested.

Yea obviously. Listen to them talk, they come on CNBC all the time. They are selling into these spices, all of them expect us to go lower.

Now that’s what they say. They could easily be just saying that and buying the dips but they are not in cash. Most of them are still holding net longs. Even those that may still be net short still hold large long positions.

Once you are trading millions or billions in a portfolio you do not just close positions. You scale in and out of them. Maybe you were long 500,000 shares of apple going into the year and sold it down to 250,000 shares while putting that capital into whatever else. Let’s say short QQQ with shares and long puts. You are net long apple still but net short the market on balance of deltas and vol exposure. Then a day like today comes and you cover half your QQQ short and throw it in more puts. Your delta decreased to net long but your short gamma and vol exposure increased so if and when we go down your short deltas increase as the gamma ramps and your long vol kicks it up to hedge the long deltas.

This is how real trading goes. In real trading you win no matter what happens by moving your deltas gamma theta and vegas and keeping them in a hedged state whereas you make money no matter what happens so long as things keep trading.

I live in the Midwest, life is different here. Everything is cheaper and I mean everything. I'm just generally not a person that needs much to be happy. Imagine being a cuck that needs to buy $950 Gucci boots for a 30 second dopamine rush. I can spend $30 for a pack of Newports, a 15 pack of keystone, and a gram of hash oil, and party all night listening to music feeling great. My cost of living is so cheap it would make you cityfags head spin around your body. I'm in my own personal paradise.

I'm 28, have a barely five figure net worth, have had at last count 31 different jobs in my life and at all but one of them I worked my balls off for not nearly enough money to get ahead and barely enough to get by - and at the one where I was actually paid what I was worth, everyone I worked with was a power-tripping asshole that shirked shit off on me and laughed about it until I finally got hurt and had to quit. I'm priced out of every home on the market, priced out of renting anything but a ghetto hellhole apartment, and if my folks weren't still around I would be firmly fucked.

This is just the tip of the iceberg. I firmly hate working and wouldn't do it at all ever if it wasn't necessary, and the second I get into a position where I have enough passive income to not do a god-blessed thing I don't want to do I'm taking the opportunity and never looking back. Maybe I'm wrong for it but I do not feel like a cog in the machine with a function within it, I feel like a worn out belt about to snap and let a rod meet a piston.

Drug lords, murderers, and rapists are shielded by the state at the highest levels while the poor are sacrificed as scapegoats for these systemic crimes. Philosophy is basically dead. Art solely exists as a division of marketing for faceless men in business suits, or it is cast aside for its irrelevance, and the people are cut off from its deeper aesthetic metaphysical relevance for a lack of knowing that it even exists because their minds are purely conditioned for materialism. As for creative ideas and revolutionary theory? “Nice LARP, bud.” “Oh wow, you’re edgy.” Nothing has defeated people more than their own acceptance of a banal life adrift in a world without meaning. They have chosen to be battered in the face with a simple life stuck in a cube and there is no escapism accept for maybe video games and movies, or if you’re conservative enough you’re probably terrified that even video games and movies will be stripped from you. As for books, can you name ten prominent writers of the 21st century who had half the relevance as a writer from, say, the early 20th century? Do we have any prominent writers left at all? Nobody thinks about new ideas, so nobody writes them, and the cycle of banality feeds itself. Conservatives can’t create anything new because it is against their very nature to do anything but hold onto tradition with contempt as the world moves ahead of them. Liberals don’t want to create anything new that does not serve a bourgeoisie madhouse of elites assfucking everything into a chaotic vortex with no meaning. People love to whine about how "woke" everything is, but that's just the latest method of the System to sell you the exact same shit you got tired of a decade plus ago. They saw how much people were getting tired of reboots and retreads, so they started black/queerwashing shit. Sports went "woke" because people got burned out on the big markets winning every year and turning small markets into glorified farm teams.

This only works when you are in a bull market. Most hedge funds lost clients money this year. No matter how you decide to play the options you are still down. Unless you cooked your books. There is nothing to put the shares to when you sell apple. That is the problem in a bear market. That is one of the main reasons why TESLA is such a resilient stock. Every hedge fund has a ESG quota and they all decided to put those shares into TESLA. GIVING it a enormous high P/E Ratio and it's ability to define all logic.

“Midwest” isn’t cheap anymore. My property taxes are 8000$ per year and utilities 800$/month.

Sure “stuff” is cheap but that is cause there is nothing nice here. Everyone is fucking retarded; the best services (landscapers, repair shops, electricians, roofers, etc) are all incompetent. There are no good restaurants, there are no good boutiques or stores of any kind. Eleven the car dealers have shit cars and their service is trash compared to and nice areas. The “Midwest” is “cheap” for a reason. The products they make and sell are absolute trash and the people are fucking retarded. If that want bad enough many or even most of them are leftist cunts. At least I’m the coasts you have good shit. There isn’t a Lamborghini dealer within 300 miles of me and that one is in Chicago.

What’s even more is the girls are mostly fat as shit, annoying as all hell, look like ogres or crackheads and the ones who are 5/10+ are entitled to the point of being a meme.

I moved to the “Midwest” cause it’s cheap. It’s cheap for a reason; anyone worth a shit leaves this place. Even if they sold nice cars here (they don’t, basically everyone is poor) I couldn’t drive one around here cause despite paying exorbitant taxes the roads are worse than the third world countries I’ve been to and I’d tear the splitter of my lambo if I ever took it off of my street

Nitric oxide, not nitrous oxide. Nitrous oxide is what you use to make an engine make more power at the touch of a button or make getting a tooth drilled not matter because you're so disassociated someone could smack you in the mouth with a frying pan and you wouldn't feel it - nitric oxide is a cellular signaling compound which tells the smooth muscle lining your blood vessels to relax and is one of the compounds your body releases when you get an erection for that exact purpose. Athletes take it because improved bloodflow but desu it's a decent supplement for anyone, just don't overdo it because you'll pass out from low blood pressure.

you added 50% too much doomer schizo in this theory, these scenarios are not as dire as you make it out to be and much more nuanced. ill give you an example. about 90% of us treasury debt is fixed rate, at around a 2% interest rate. only 3% of the us treasury debt is variable rate. so the scenario people believe in where the government is suffocated by its debt and can't pay it back is largely hyperbole. in addition, the debt is not all due tomorrow, or next year, it's due over the next 30 years. in addition, high interest rate debt can be refinanced lower, the govt can issue new debt at 1% rates to pay back debt holders. does your thesis incorporate these ideas

Idk anymore. I haven't traded in months and only feel disgust and sorrow at this point when I see stocks. It's nothing more than a game. All i want to do with it now is get rich and take my winnings. What a scam it is. Good news? Pumps. Good news? Dumps. Its literally more algos choosing one direction over the other. What i want to know is how do I know which direction the majority of these will pick especially when taking into account hedgefunds want to screw retail over.

First time seeing a Fed shitpost market sperg out? These things aren't a signal of anything. The big green does is not indicative of some newfound confidence by the market. It's a squeeze and scramble and shuffle. Doesn't hold. Same as the big red last time didn't hold.

put some spices on them that u like or mix them with another food - pickled beets are great to me but i try to stay away from sugar, so i either get the tasteless unsalted ones and then u can mix more with it.

There's no flaw in the logic. But neither the image nor you mention a time span in which one of these scenarios takes place. The whole point of monetary policy is hitting the gas pedal and brake skillfully in order to win an unconstrained Le Mans race. Yes, this car will break down eventually. Not a huge insight. The important part is what the other cars are doing.

The end goal should be not needing a job and living off investment income. You can still work after this but it’s only because you choose to. Neets these days want this but are not willing to do what it takes to get it.

Dude, honestly I'm admiring your consistency in your prediction so far, especially your flip from yang gang full china bear to full china bull.
While I understand the china rally so far, what I'm skeptic is its sustainability.
Ok china reopen, but we're not even in winter yet, so It can get really bad (and I've been in Shanghai in January, nightclub and all that).
Second things is the US have been shorting chinks stock since the beginning of the year. I don't see why their attitude toward chinks stocks would change. they're still trading like shitcoin. The PE's are going through the roof again.
And sorry, but the macro are still way worse than 2021. How the hell would we be going full blown ath when the environment is not even here?
