52682259 No.52682259 [Reply] [Original]

The great thing about posting about Avalanche, the only blockchain that actually scales due to its innovative consensus protocol, is that there is a team of poos employed by Polygon (the 5-of-8 multisig centralised shitcoin) and ICP (the useless -99.8% enterprise servercoin) who will kindly bump my thread for me with their third rate TelegramSir FUD.

Won't you, you little slaves? ;) Now bump my thread, wagies, we need to stay on Page 1 to make sure everybody knows about the best platform in crypto - Avalanche and we keep them from getting scammed by Polygon and ICP.

ETH died with the merge. Even shitcoins like FTM, ALGO, and SOL are more decentralized.

Wunderkind Vitalik is has grown into a complete dissapoint. He should have taken Emin's offer and forked onto Avalanche consensus and removed slashing too. Would have only taken a month instead of 5+ years and the end result would have been more decentralized, probably even more decentralized than BTC since validator overheard is fucking tiny and slashing is fucking retarded, a complete midwit trap.
Everything happening in ETH over the last few years shows exactly why you only trust college dropout kiddies with the ambitious idea and leave the follow-through to grown men with experience. Adderall will not carry you through a 5+ year project the same way it got you through a few months of brainstorming and sporadic prototyping. Leave complex system design to the academics and professional programmers with 15+ years of experience.

Lets compare ETH staking to Avalanche staking:

>ETH staking withdrawals will not be available right away
Avalanche withdrawals are available since Mainnet launch YEARS ago
>The current plan is to deploy the withdrawal functionality in a software update 6 mo - 1 year after the Merge.
essential stuff like this was never missing on Avalanche, this means you have to stake ETH for up to a year, maybe even longer while on Avalanche you can Stake for 2 weeks minimum or 1 year maximum or anything in between.
>The current projected income rate (for ETH) is around ~4% APY
Running an Avalanche Node has a proven 9% - 12% APY (paid in AVAX) since Mainnet Launch 2 years ago.
If you run a Node you get Staking rewards, % of your delegators rewards and Tokens from validating several Subnets. (The Golden Subnet Bullrun has not started yet).
>Also the withdrawal system will be implemented as a queue to limit the amount of ETH that can be withdrawn per day,
there is no queue on Avalanche, its instant, sub second, its finalized faster than you can press F5. thats all transactions or smart contract interactions on Avalanche, even when you go crosschain between X Chain and P chain and C chain and other Subnets its instant. Sub Second finality.
>Transactions take 14+ Minutes until they are finalized
I repeat: on Avalanche transactions are almost instant.
>Ethereum has Slashing which means you can lose your stake due to a Hardware or Software bug
No such thing as Slashing on Avalanche.

you will ignore this post because there is nothing you can refute about it.

I think currently you can't see or interact with X-Chain or P-Chain or see the assets you have on them through Core desktop. Emin has stated though they intend to add that functionality to Core. But yes for right now just use the original wallet.

My only criticism about your post that's worth bringing up is the staking withdrawal complaint for eth.

Anyone who staked eth is investing in the ecosystem as a whole - nobody was forced to stake, and if they did so without knowing the terms then they have no right to complain - they were being careless.

The fact that withdrawals wouldn't be possibly immediately after the merge was made very clear.

I think the fact that so many people are okay with an indefinite lock-up period for staked eth just speaks to the strength of the community and the security of the blockchain.

Yes, there are technical improvements that could be made to eth. There are always tradeoffs.

Interesting stuff about slashing, gonna look into that sometime, I don't know enough about Avalance desu
