Yes, I spent €600 on new pc hardware. Didn't buy a gpu though, I might later. Vague plans to do pick up compsci evening classes again, and used that as an excuse to myself to buy the hardware. Current desktop still runs an i5 4440 so it was already quite old though.

I got some metal measuring cups and spoons because I had plastic ones. The ink rubbed off and I couldn't see what they were anymore. Also a glass jug so I can brew tea in it directly.

bought a gpu on black friday. after i put it in i realized my cpu can’t keep up with it. so i got a cpu and a motherboard to go with it, but now i also need a bigger psu, so i bought that too and it would be a shame to not get some more ram to tie it all together, and my mobo has nvme slots so why not get a nvme ssd as well and fuck it im gonna get a case too so i dont have to take out everything from my old pc. i only play games a couple of hours on the weekends. feel like kms

I've done the same thing.
PSU died and took out the motherboard.
Got a new motherboard, RAM (old ones were DDR3), CPU, cpu cooler and case fans.
Also bought a GPU during the sales and waiting for it to show up since I wasn't getting any better fps as my current GPU is getting bottlenecked by my CPU.
I'll buy a new monitor soon since I have a 23" 1080p 60hz currently.
And then I might buy a steering wheel to play racing games if Forza Motorsport comes out and is any good.

i bought a new m.2 for my laptop and an amazon echo a few days ago i guess, but i don't really have any buyer's remorse over it at all
