Shit's rough at the moment. There is rising demoralisation among cryptobros. Most are heavily in the red, and the overall industry is being pummelled by scandal after scandal.
Share your reason for holding, perhaps you'll inspire others.

I'm a monero extremist and seeing "crypto" as it existed crash gives me pleasure if anything. I can only hope for a total eradication of shitcoinage including bitcoin. I don't worry about my current bags being hit by this because I believe this cleaning by fire is good for the long term.

Same, Monero is the only crypto with growing real-world adoption and has established itself as the default organized crime coin, which at least guarantees it won't go to zero once this bubble finally pops for good.

I thought we are finished few months ago. Ideology changed after I decided to stay 80% on stablecoins, farming them for rewards through SpoolFi. This is just what have been keeping me afloat in this market. In everything I do, diversification plays a key role and my storage is now on ledger after the recent crash.

Maximum awareness has been reached, we will likely never hit these highs ever again.

I will go with you on that. There is a possibility that the 4 year cycle isn't guaranteed. I just think that the number of maxi's has increased. Next will happen, that's a guarantee. Too much money to make. Projects can be run from any offshore shithole yet it is accessible to anyone with money and internet connection.

Bullrun will happen what whales/marketmakers/CEXs decide that price has dumped below their target. Then they will pump the market to entice the same degens who lost it all last year.
Always been like that in crypto, will always stay the same.

I will keep stacking sats and holding on a wallet and watch as the entire financial sector collapses on itself while we wait for "regulations" in another decade to "finally come". >> No.52669569

brothers these are my thoughts. Please tell me what you think:

Landscape 2018-2022:
>Institutional investors don't want to get involved due to volatility and perceived lack of value (see Jamie Dimon bitcoin comments)
>Every normie has crypto fever and wants to invest
>Pressure applied on to institutions to include crypto options for retirement acocunts
>Institutional involvement (even the rumor of it) sets off the crazy bull run we've had the last few years

Landscape now:
>Joy ride is over, people are reminded of the risks in crypto when their investment is down
>Institutions, believing they had it right all along and knew this was a bad idea, exit their crypto positions
>Market crashes

Normie interest and institutional interest is now a flop. Establishing trust in the crypto space will take years of regulation. Until then, the burned institutional investors will be cautious to return. I believe we are in a long term crypto bear market now. I believe now it's time to keep your head down for a few years and DCA into only the strongest, most established projects like BTC and ETH.
