I'm a monero extremist and seeing "crypto" as it existed crash gives me pleasure if anything. I can only hope for a total eradication of shitcoinage including bitcoin. I don't worry about my current bags being hit by this because I believe this cleaning by fire is good for the long term.

>Institutional involvement (even the rumor of it) sets off the crazy bull run we've had the last few years

Landscape now:

>Institutions, believing they had it right all along and knew this was a bad idea, exit their crypto positions
>Market crashes

Normie interest and institutional interest is now a flop. Establishing trust in the crypto space will take years of regulation. Until then, the burned institutional investors will be cautious to return. I believe we are in a long term crypto bear market now. I believe now it's time to keep your head down for a few years and DCA into only the strongest, most established projects like BTC and ETH.
