I tried JS for the first time after being a C++ monkey for years and it was the most frustrating experience of my life. Like it'd execute without warnings but fail to do something specific, and then I'd get stuck tracing a NaN through 10 methods only to realize this retard lang from hell multiplied an object by a fucking string or something without so much as an error

Python is weakly typed as well but at least it's sane and the interpreter yells at me when I'm being an idiot
