52623413 No.52623413 [Reply] [Original]

Since early June when this chart was made, baggies and brainlets said in response to this giga-chad chart things like:
>Nooo 25k was absolutely the bottom
>You'll never see btc at 20k
>sub 20k is delusional, it has never gone below a previous ATH so it can't happen
>BTC isn't going to go down month after month after month; it's already bottomed out!
>Look you stupid bearfags, the Stoch RSI is already totally bottomed, it won't stay bottomed out for several more months!
>oh b-but at the same time f-f-fuck Stoch RSI, it's a bobo cope indicator waaah!

Glorious. Absolutely glorious.

or a more simple narrative
every peak has seen an 85% drawdown
meaning 69k * 0.15 = 10k
>past doesn't mean future!
sure but there's reasons that pattern happened. bitcoin's hard coded for ups and downs. wait til 10k faggitz.

So basically DCAing anywhere in this range is fine. I knew that before you made this assblasted thread over chart obsessive bullshit.

This time I am in doubt if I should go ALL IN on ETH or BNB.
Maybe diversify and put 50% in each?

Sad to think I had a networth of 600 BNBs in November and now my networth is just worth 200 BNBs.
I fucked up and lost a fucking load of money on Avax.

so 2013 had an 85% drawdown
then 2017 had an 85% drawdown
you're aware USD was inflating during that time as well?
if anything this is one of the more bullish narratives surrounding bitcoins' hard money concept, it's ignoring the actual USD price within its cycles
fucking lmao "adjust for inflation"
adjust for inflation and i'm sure bitcoin wasn't going to go below 25k or something

sorry but i dont think ive ever commented on this fags blue box chart
and yes, all things considered dca at this point is probably pretty reasonable. will it 100% go to 10k? probably not. will it go to 14k when the stock market takes another dip? probably. could we flash crash to $14,999.99 then the bull run begins? probably not.
these are indeed low levels, but in my opinion, its not really worth looking at until crypto is dead ie "CZ injecting $1B into the crypto space to help with liquidity" means we're not at the bottom.
also think really hard, do you think FTX/Alameda dominos have completely fallen yet?
no.

>>52623746
>Maybe diversify and put 50% in each?
in general the way people like to do it is like this
50% btc 50% alts
your alt position will swell and recede
eventually when btc starts faltering you'll wanna switch to 100% btc
btc will peak, then you go 100% into said alts
when you start to think btc is stupid and alts are the future that's when you sell for USD and wait until march 2023 to buy

Thanks.
Think we will have another dip soon?
I am trying to trade to recover some of the money I've lost since last year and I lost the last 2 dips because I was afraid ETH could go sub 1k but it didn't.
If I had bought the bottom I could have recovered 15% in less than a week.
Now I am afraid of trying to trade and it go down even further.

>Think we will have another dip soon?
yes. ftx situation will get worse compounded with stock markets taking the next leg down which BTC has been tied to directly for a while now. stocks go down 3% btc goes down 10%
>>52623867
>I was afraid ETH could go sub 1k but it didn't.
the merge is not entirely a meme. ethereum changed their tokenomics completely it is a different coin now than it was under PoW.
however
consider eth was 2k and was going to flip btc. also consider eth is still riding on merge memes. i think we will see sub 1k eth but i dont think its going to $300 which would be the relative "85% drawdown" metric we saw last time when eth hit like $80. if eth goes back to about $800 ill reluctantly buy, because this is uncharted territory. but. eth is still an alt. btc is still king.
>>52623867
>trying to trade
in this environment you're really setting yourself up for failure. trading in bullmarkets is fun. you start with 1 btc at $20k but end up with 0.9 btc at $69k. you don't feel so stupid.
what feels pretty stupid is starting with 1 btc at $16k, then 0.9 btc at $10k.
trading in bear markets is either retardation or insider business. if anything, try and find projects that are promising when btc starts looking like its actually recovering. that's how you make a 1000x.

I see, thank you so much.
I'll try waiting for another 10% dip so I can at least ride the way back up for a day or two, exit and try that again in the next dump.
