r/cryptocurrency is finally admitting the truth
tell them about haircomb claims, they cost only 330 sats :)
You should post that image on r slash cryptocurrency I bet you'd get like a gazillion updoots
>>52613073Imagine being into crypto for the technology. That is just cope to not look like a greedy jew
>>52613073bullish for XMR
>>52613073Sounds like they were late to buying bitcoin and ethereum.
>>52613073nice updoots
>>52613073I mean I'd also be into Ethereum if it was pegged to $ from the start. It's just a vehicle to popularize distributed ledger tech. That was envisioned somewhen between the 70's and the 90's.Similarly to how I'm into drones and the math involved, even if that's not something where you can make money. In fact I've "wasted" one, two thousand $ on half a dozen shit drones just to play around with it and track development of the tech and API's.I've coded Ethereum boardroom anonymous voting algos and the like, which isn't related to any currency - just a sort of app that only becomes possible once you got a platform with private key identification.Of course once you get a crypto pump you also start gambling with that shit.

>>52613373Crypto was invented by jewish central bankers. They created bitcoin which is why no one knows who created it. They knew others would create their own and compete. They sit back and watch this as a testing ground before finally rolling out a one world digital currency.
>>52613373Based mindset tho I'll give you that
A lot of bottom signs lately.
Most cryptocurrencies have no use, the only actual usecase that has no (or very poor) alternatives in the real world is buying drugs online, and serving as an alternative money laundering/tax evasion system if/when physical cash gets phased out. You can make a few edge cases for things like Ethereum which essentially function as a worldwide digital casino that allows you to invest in the chips people use (ETH), but beyond that you see very little real world adoption for this stuff. I can only make reasonable cases for XMR, ETH, and Bitcoin if we're talking value investments and not just gambling on glorified tech stocks we're hoping will moon.
>no coiners The thread Lmao evenStay poor
>>52614252Chud nigger
>>52613073This is why I buy Doge/Shib. It doesn't pretend to be something it isn't.
>>52614042This.
If you don't understand how much value is in crypto, then you don't deserve to become rich. People who actually understand how inefficient our entire financial system is know the value. Anything finance related would benefit from adopting crypto. It cuts costs by ridiculous amounts. It is obviously the future, it's just a question of how it gets implemented and how long it takes. There is an enormous amount if potential in this industry. But reddit retards don't understand the investment. Which is why they post shit like this... they have no idea what they're really involved in.
>>52614323Whatever the case might be, there is still a positive side to this than just the peer-to-peer cash system and its being called "security," as many categorize it to be. I wish Elon Musk could use this as a means of payment on Twitter. What do you think?
>>52614117Bitcoin is legal tax avoidance. If the government funds its operations by printing currency, and you don't use that currency, then your tax rate is effectively zero, possibly negative if you have business expenses and low interest debt. Bitcoin is already guaranteed to outperform government bonds. If and when people spend 5 hours to study how money works and use some common sense then that's at the very least $500,000 per bitcoin, but realistic people catch on at that point and it's no longer priced in dollars.
>>52614252> t. coiner who bought in January 2021
>>52613073Oh shit this post from Hindu hamma has made me realise that trust minimisation isn’t actually the future of digital agreements after all, turns out paper promises are fine and will continue forever.
>>52613073> new reddit> smashed the upvote button like a good boy> phonefag> 1pbtidfuck go back and stop posting opinions from your favorite reddit hivemind here.
>>52614362How is it future. What costs does it bring down exactly.
>>52614042Yeah I was thinking the same. At the same time, its hard to imagine that it won't go lower given the overall economic picture, but I'm seriously considering getting back in soon
>>52614670You are fucking lucky to consider going in at this point. I was too quick to draw lines on eth, xpress, fet, and a couple of others. before the FX debacle. Though I bought at a considerable discount, precisely 18k benchmark
>>52614804idk the overall situation just seems fucking bleak, at least until the FED keeps increasing interest rates I feel like shouldn't buy back in yet. That being said even with the FTX debacle, we didn't drop that hard at all considering, so it does seem maybe this is close to the bottom. Doesn't feel like it to me though.
>>52613073crypto is a speculation instrument, not less not more, instruments are based on commodities or currencies or stocks, crypto happens to be based on the value that the blockchain gives merely by existing as a mechanism to send money.nothing will ever change, when you see the world simply, you see that crypto will not dissapear, you see that cycles repeat, sometimes strong pumps sometimes weak ones, sometimes dumps, you can even follow the cycles with TA,no matter of seething or praise from 4chan or reddit will change anything, market makers will come to trade, dumb people will come to lose their money, exchanges will counter trade, there will be ponzis and scams, once in a while there will be some project that enables cool stuff, most of the time, there will be copies of stuff, people will trade perpetual futures, options, leveraged shittokens, worthless nfts.75% will lose and 25% will win,and yeah, crypto is probably not going anywhere.
>>52613073also, people have not yet understood that bitcoin is one of two currencies that derive purely from trust, just like fiat.this trust is held in machines and algorithms and developers that make them, fiat trust is derived from a country like USA, its tax payers, companies and its military.all in all, both need people, equipment and money.bitcoin tends to be easier to verify though and it is deflationary.it literally replaces a central bank when people will finally wake up to what is going on.
>>52613073also, as normies are typing up blogposts about how bitcoin is dead, there are algos that trade in the background making sweet money in the meantime, people think they are hot shit with all their worthless opinions, its the same every where.people look for simple explanations to everything. just like I do.
>>52613073So what you're saying is the only current value is organized crime?
>>52614362This.Only midwits think crypto is purely gambling (a lot of it is don't get me wrong), but there is underlying tech that can truly revolutionize global finance, there's a reason all big insitutions and banks have blockchain teams now. We unironically might be too early to make it though.
>>52613073Rope. Now.
bottom signal
>>52613073You're all covering your eyes! How often do you see a blind person describing what they see?Fiat and crypto are EXACTLY the same. If you wanna say crypto is a scam, surprise: FIAT IS A SCAM TOO!So is gold.It is all in peoples heads. Buying something is a bet to say these idiots will pay more for it later.Because you're all fucking idiots. Now crypto will be around forever because it has been set up the same way that fiat was. Coercion and possibility.Instead of being something new and useful. Like a global currency for land swapping used to recreate the GDP evaluation as output of business land from land soze vs efficiency. Every country could contribute to a total and be allocated a bitcoin share market to trade in homes. Some of the market would have to be assigned as housing and handed out by individual governments but it's a fucking genius plan. Would work best with a fiat currency involved with a tax cap of something like 20million. After proven contributions of earning 20mil you are offered a piece of the bitcoin pie and offered an easier oppurtunity to produce in the business market.
>>52615645Space (land, air and ground) is truly the only valuable asset worth trading, obtaining space is your chance to prove you can be more efficient with it. And when we realize that we just need to make sure housing is allocated.
>>52614362so we still do have some wise anons left on this shithole
>>52613073you mean finally admitting what they think others perceive the truth to be.You cant get karma by telling the real truth
>>52613073bottom confirmed
>>52613128Basado
>>52614117Chargeback fraud avoidance and proof of transaction history are other use cases that have no or inferior alternatives>be seller>want to sell stuff to people in China/Russia>people in those countries are known for scamming>can't use Paypal due to high chargeback fraud risk (I get fucked for the payment amount + $20 if I lose a chargeback fraud case)Crypto is cheaper, faster, and more convenient than existing solutions like Western Union>be buyer>want to buy stuff online on a marketplace>don't know if someone has fake vouches>can look at seller's transaction history to determine if their vouches are real, because faking transaction history is very expensive due to transaction costs
>>52614615>What costs does it bring down exactlyThe cost of transferring value from one entity to another, quickly.
>>52613073Lol time to buy again Last time I bought bitcoin at 4k, the sentiment was exactly the same.
>>52614362This is true. Some don't see the need for the code based trust (rather than purely reputation based trust) as imperative to addressing systemic corruption in the long game.Every hack, rug and rort in crypto hardens the survivors and builds a better system in the long run. Not everyone will understand the. The beauty is, they don't need to. They're natural greed will make them help this process whether they realize it or not. All successful human endeavors embrace humanities base instincts to some extent, and this is no different. The same way porn pushed the internet speed and streaming, piracy pushed compression, encryption and bandwidth, etc. Greed will push the fiat replacement.
>>52613073you should stay there, you dirty nigger
>>52614615The embedded cost of trust, the cost of risk (sovereign risk due to devaluation) and transaction costs via unnecessary intermediaries.
>>52614362>finance related would benefit from adopting cryptoExactly. Thank you anon. This is a massive market the entire finance industry is moving towards. Bored Ape/NFT/jpeg niggas have no clue.
>>52613073Pic relatedAnything else is pure cope, now gather your things, get up, and move on. You had your chance and got greedy and blew it. Its fine, its a story old as time, but its not gonna happen again with crypto frens, youre all in denial. It can happen again, but the dams have broke, and crypto will never hold water again like it did before.
If this doesn't scream "bottom", then I don't know what does.Literally buy everything you can right now or forever be priced out.

If not for the incident, the new CPI rate release should have increased the value of the market, as it did for stocks then. The possibility of a further decline from this point is possible as long as the sages continue to create a financial shockwave across the board. Fuck SBF. This will just slow down the current pace of adoption and prolong the expected upward movement of prices. I'd suggest you apply DCA since no one knows the exact possible move or bottom.
>>52616673>Retards crypto doesn't work if you don't have running electricity and reliable internet.Neither does civilization, what's your point.
>>526130731) banking is a scam. they take your money and leverage it 100-1 to inflate the cost of living.2) it would only take roughly 1% of depositors to pull their money at once, for the pyramid scheme to implode3) central banks prop up this scam with inflation 4) the dollar has lost 99% of its value since the formation of the federal reserve. No matter how much you sacrifice and save, it will be worthless by the time you need to retire. So you have to invest, or work until you’re dead.5) bitcoin kills two birds with one stone, as savings and investment. Since bitcoin capable of p2p transactions, it’s more efficient than stock as a hedge against currency collapse.6) getting rich quick is the same as retiring young. Nothing wrong with that.

>>52621681What separates crypto from "just software" is the fact it is decentralized, and for me, the character of the actors that created it.Bitcoin came up partially as a response to the failure of occupy wallstreet. There simply is no other thing that will be there to fight CBDCs.Crypto is the competitor to global hegemon, however in many ways it is pozzed with WEF-tier shit like chainlink. Invest in the future that you believe in.Many make the argument that Bitcoin is the only actual crypto and lesser arguments for important real alts like Eth and cosmos.Eth becoming PoS was not really a tech upgrade, it was eth bending the knee to ESG. Mining was what made it different, but perhaps it is too big to fail now, we will have to steer it in the right direction and knock the demon hands off of it.Decentralization is important because it means bad people cannot use it to subvert and control us. It only means that to an extent however as they try to You should be moralized however because look how much crypto scares them. It is a legitimate threat to their global control system. It's possible that it is just bitcoin but there are promises from some alts. Look up jae kwon and cosmos for a good example. Look at his twitter. However the other founder of cosmos is jewish.Chia by Bram Cohen is a good example of a scam. It works sure, but look at the chart. As long as bitcoin is mined, it will continue to be a competitor to the people who fucked you over in 2008 and now every day.

It's the only way I can be paid for building a small hydro plant in some remote location that otherwise relies on imported fuel.Increasing grid capacity always results in economic output but there are no direct global incentives except mining. The cost of constantly upgrading hardware has been the major issue holding this process back but the trend has been flattening out so more old miners are still in use than before. The incentives of mining mean it should never be draining resources but using excesses and adding to that excess power. >>52622818> It finances the production of renewable energyIt wastes energy. There is no other way to call it. Just because someone builds a hydro plant to waste it on mining bitcoin brings no value to society. Calling it financing is also weird. Not sure how it would work, but if they took out loans in 2021 in hopes to pay them back with mined Bitcoin, then I guess they are in trouble right now.> reversion for retards> >>can<< be implemented onnice line of defense. Solutions don't exist, so lets call those people in need retards. Creating those solutions would only catch up with existing systems by the way. >>52622979> On the face of it, the question about energy use is a fair one. According to the Cambridge Center for Alternative Finance (CCAF), Bitcoin currently consumes around 110 Terawatt Hours per year — 0.55% of global electricity production, or roughly equivalent to the annual energy draw of small countries like Malaysia or Sweden. And right now, BTC handles miniscule number of transactions. You guys just can’t call every piece of negative news a “bottom signal”.Sometimes bad news are just the result of things being bad. And bad things tend to get worse, it’s harder to turn things around than to keep the course.

There's nothing special about BTC that makes you not able to use those same methods that rely on credit and trust. You have even more options, not fewer. Why do you think you have fewer? The current system is not a formalized process anyone can analyze, least of all the public. The "system" is a bunch of clowns fighting about nonsense and barely managing to avoid miserable failure enough of the time so a few things eventually get done. It's almost entirely made up of inefficiencies, for every real thing that gets done 100 failed to even start due to how inherently corrupt and broken it all is.
