I really don't like the idea of the market being this thin and illiquid on a second-rate, barely-used AMM. i hope the OTC deals include a centralized exchange or a MM that will provide liquidity on Uniswap.

OTC trades are extremely nasty though, I can tell you some stories. When I put in a WTB 100k LPL an intermediary reached out and scheduled a video call with an interested seller. I logged on, and the other guy had his video off. But his cockney accent was so bad I could hardly make out what he was saying so I kept pressing for him to activate his webcam so I could at least lipread a bit, to help me piece together what he was saying. After a minute or two of arguing about it he said “fine”, I heard him stumbling a bit and after 30 or so seconds his webcam came on but he was wearing a horse mask. So needless to say I still couldn’t make out what he was saying. But it was rather strange that he was wearing a linkpool shirt, and through his bedroom window I could see the Big Ben so I have some idea who it was that I was speaking too. I ended up not doing the swap, couldn’t trust Jonny anymore after what he did.

LIDO is a protocol that stakes your ETH through the official ETH staking contract for the standard yield. In return they give you the stETH token which you can use for lending or just having liquid staked ETH to take profits or hedge etc. Its awesome.

Some people essentially use leverage by using the stETH to buy more ETH stake it and rinse repeat. So you are getting much high APR but you have a liquidation point then. Either lots of options and kind of defeats the whole 1-2 year LINK lockup issue.

Someone may be able to give more specifics but that is gist of it from my understanding

Judging by the anemic price action and serious lack of liquidity, I'll never get to sell at a decent price, and nor will any other LPL holder. Even worse is that the number of token holders will never increase to anything meaningful because of a lack of a proper market for the token. I guess that works out fine for current holders if the team get a massive share of link staking and the reward payouts go parabolic, but then again, it would also potentially be bad for link imo if that happened.
