These places are so full of shit. Couple like them in my town claiming general managers salary of 150k +.

I'm a equipment manager for a 8 digit revenue company with 10 years experience running millions in inventory and best starting offer I have received for a position I'm way overqualified for was 65k at one of these ghetto ass franchise places. They can lie because there's no jew who would ever apply and dispute the advertised starting salary.

being the head honcho manager in any sort of fast food restaurant, gas station, retail store, etc. is worse than hell because you work 50-60 hours a week or more on salary, all of your subordinates and retarded (teenagers, low IQ adults, drunks/drug addicts, poorfags), and you are held responsible by hardass district managers for literally everything in the store.

also it realistically takes like 10 years to climb to assistant GM and being smarter than all of the other retards in the place isn't enough. there are a handful of assistant GM positions and the one who sucks the manager's cock (or district manager's, if it's a GM slot) the hardest gets the job.

also they can and will force you to help out at other stores across the entire district. don't like it? tough shit. you made a career out of managing a gas station or a retail store, you have no skills and no basis for bargaining. i worked at a restaurant in college and the GM was forced to switch restaurants to one with a much longer commute. he put up with it because it was """good for his career."""

>PAID WEEKLY
imagine trying to run that place. imagine making the schedule, trying to keep all of the various facets of the business manned and productive while you're dealing with poorfag problems -- the same type of people who are attracted to a place that advertises "paid weekly."
>SORRY I DON'T GOT NO GAS MONEY, CANT MAKE IT TO WORK
>MY BOYFRIEND IS IN JAIL I NEED TO BAIL HIM OUT SORRY
guess who's pulling a 16 hour shift to keep the place running, or the district manager will personally drive down there and fistfuck your asshole.

Come to northeast USA. Prevailing wage for traffic control is like 57 dollars an hour and you will get 20+ hours of overtime. Qualifications include showing up on time and not smoking meth or crack until the shift is over. You can easily make 100k here but you're going to hate your life.

no they are also known as 'flaggers' they are the folks that sit outside all day and flip the sign between "stop" and "slow." it's boring as hell but requires zero skill and pays decent.

>> No.52571563

>>52571322
Nice. My minimum wage info graphic is about flagging and it concludes that today's minimum wage is close to $60 and hour compared to what a 14 year old kid who worked for their dad's construction company in the 70's.
