Coinbase corporate bond price has crashed to about 50%. If they want to borrow money they need to pay 17% yield! lmfao. To all you cryptoniggers i'll explain what this means. It means that the market thinks there is a high probability these wankers will go belly up and nobody wants to lend them money anymore. GET ALL YOUR CRYPTO OF CENTRAL EXCHANGES. sell everything. the nucleair cryptowinter has started. We are EARLY in the crash, no bottom in sight. Buckle up and finger your anus to cope

I'm actually thinking of loading up on these bonds. Coinbase just prints money. Yeah maybe they'll have to scale down. But their costs are super low. They aren't going bankrupt low. A guaranteed 50% on their bonds is a crazy good deal. My only hesitation is because I might just get better returns holding BTC instead.

actually now that I think about it. it makes sense. to buy a coinbase bond you have to believe in crypto. And if you believe in crypto you are loading up on BTC and ETH right now, not thinking about corp bonds

i think it"s reasonable to consider the 2018 low a 'safe' bottom. So 3k. yeah sucks right. but even 3k is optimistic. The Western hemisphere is facing a massive recession. that's not my ' opinion'. Recently the Uk finance minister publicly said they were facing a big recession. Uk is one of the most important economies in EU. Whole EU is fucked. And when EU is fucked, USA is fucked. we are all fucked. Crypto never had to face a recession in it's existence AND on top of that we have all these massive frauds lol. perfect shitstorm

BTC will go to 9k - 12k at the lowest, then go back up to 15k and bounce around 14k to 17k likely.

This is the bottom, but there likely will be a lower entry within the next year.

FTX is a massive fud catalyst which is being overblown, exaggerated on purpose to drive the market down and attempt to push new legislation.

Now that republicans control and house and senate there will be resistance to these bills likely.

Fed's CBCD is being finalized.
Fidelity is implementing blockchain programs.

The next run won't be a dump, it will be a timeline where BTC and ETH are solidified and stabilized into many institutions.

I suspect right before this happens, there will be a massive influx of businesses suddenly accepting bitcoin, eth and other currencies.

>> No.52556731

it will go alot lower than 9k moron. for example the GBTC ( grayscale) shareholders are effectively selling their shares with a 45% discount. for example when BTC was 16700 they were selling their shares with a 45% discount which basically meant they accepted to only get 9k btc price for their shares. These are the institutional investors. you are absolutely retarded if you think 9k is the bottom. it's just the beginning

Not exactly OP. Your logic works but the big picture is different. We are experiencing the collapse of the current centralised ecosystem but the next step is a new ecosystem. Big nose money will enter after these companies collapsed and this is the reason of that 17% yield. They want to dominate in the next bullrun. It's going to be the same with different names.

Yeah a lot of people in crypto really don't comprehend the larger economic impact the world has on crypto markets.

Crypto success relies on linking it to the real world economy. That intertwining changes market dynamics significantly and they begin to impact each other. We're finally seeing crypto weaving into the real economy, which is why external forces are now playing a major role. A lot of people are not understanding this.

Yes absolutely, and so is almost everybody. We jump back to 24k, that might not mean shit, it could do that and then crash down to 10k. Or it could keep going. Price movements can precede whatever explanations there is for why they are happening. At what point do you jump back on if you want to take advantage of long term price increases?

>facing a recession
its a recession right now, a recession is 2 consecutive quarters of negative gdp growth. The mainstream media in the USA just redefined it for the midterms so they could claim it hasnt arrived yet. I think this is part of the reason they push trannies so hard, if they can get people to truly agree with the idea trannies are valid members of the gender they are trying to impersonate, they can get people to believe anything... like we are not in a recession right now

>how low do you think BTC will go then?
8k-10k.

The recession started in summer and historically it stays for ~10 months. Right now we're hovering at 15k.we need to accumulate until march 2023 and then the fed will start lowering rates again.

Interest rates are going up anon, albeit slowly.
Because interest rates have been so low for so long, that’s why you see plastic shit like funko pops everywhere but no millennial has their fucking life together.
All that excess money is going to be drained out of the economy one bit at a time, because it’s gotten to the point where it’s affecting people’s ability to eat.

Coinbase is probably the safest exchange since they've been subject to U.S. regulation for a while. But they also don't provide an actual account/balance statement. This whole reserves fud is getting to me.

All these are worthless. Hop on to DeFi projects, probably DAO governed and non-custodial on user assets... mostly seen on middlewares for yield aggregation.
