Let's discuss the Statera ecosystem. Do you think Statera would've been in a good position had Balancer Exploit not happened? Was refunding victims of this exploit a mistake?

>News
There are talks of some developments and the ecosystem evolving soon to take maximum advantage of Statera's USP which is Volume Boosting.

>What is Statera?
Statera is an ecosystem that aims to icrease income from Liquidity Pools by boosting volume via arbitrage.
Statera Ecosystem consists of STA and wSTA tokens. STA is a deflationary asset that incurs a 1% burn with each transaction. wSTA is created by wrapping STA tokens in order to safely inject it to Index Pools as they don't support fee-on-tranfer tokens.
As a result of constant price adjustments in Index Pools and deflation that happens every time STA is traded, arbitrage opportunities arise boosting volume and Liquidity Provider income across the ecosystem.
Statera contracts are immutable like Bitcoin, meaning there are no admin rights to freeze or move your coins. You have control over your funds.
Statera is the most decentralized project in Defi. There was no Team Allocation and the treasury is controlled by a multisig wallet with signers chosen by the community.

I swapped most of my STA for HOGE, seeing HOGE was like "statera for reddit" - same idea of a burn but with a dog logo instead of swirlies and needing to google to understand the "balance" meaning.
Track HOGE and other tax-on-transfer tokens to see the potential of this kind of token.
>>52531382
The "infinity pool" only works if there actually is volume, very low bot transfers simply don't earn you enough liquidity to make sense.

All of Statera's problems result from the Balancer exploit. Thankfully, it's a community project so there are always people putting in effort to grow the project. It's been slow but progress has been made. It has the potential to pump like SHIB.

>question

It was just a bad situation. Had the team not made crypto history with the Statera refund, chances are good it would be remembered as just a 2020 rugpull. The only reason Statera ALWAYS looks like it's hanging on for dear life is the exploit happened during the hype cycle, and crash after crash occurred after. Events outside their control. The token's still good for what it's good for, and the team's better than ever from what I've seen.

That's what the community is trying to achieve. Before Fantom collapse, Dante Symphony was earning as much swap fees as pools that had 5x more liquidity.

It's market cap is really low but has great potential as explained here. -> >>52533375
It got hit with several unfortunate events but managed to survive thanks to community. First, Balancer Exploit. After victims of the exploit got their refunds and wSTA was created to be safely injected into the Index Pools, Ethereum's high gas fees prevented arbitrage. For that reason, Fantom integration came which actually showed Statera's potential but then Fantom Ecosystem suffered unfortunate events. If there is no curse on Statera, we won't see things like this anymore and it will easily 100x or maybe 1000x.

>> No.52534058

all the "the number went up" and "it crashed" usually fail to account for liquidity (sometimes intenionally). MCAP increases, someone redeems, now everyone suffers. low liquidity tokens need high volume to slurp the dip.
STA whales ITT, are you interested in a Group LP campaign? You commit your tokens to a smart contract, users fund with ETH until enough is raised to match your STA commitment and LP is minted to the contract. All contributers get LP proportional to their contributions. Anyone can withdraw but if someone withdraws before the lockup time you specified, they take a 20% haircut which is distributed to other holders.

increases liquidity which many users see as a healthy sign for a project. If you're loaded on STA, putting them up and letting randoms match with ETH lets you effectively sell half your STA for their ETH, you pull your LP after the lock (or earlier if you're in profit).
The first small one we did for HOGE reached #11 on the LP holders for the token, which shows how little liquidity is actually provided for these tokens.

I bought this token like 15 minutes after the contract was deployed and sold it an hour later for a quick 5x. then I unplugged and went out of town for a week. when I got back it had damn near pulled a 1000x. one of my biggest regrets from last cycle because this happened when ETH was about $100 and that win would have set me up right for the bull run.

STA was a nice 150x or possibly a 4x150 pump considering the 4 times it epically fucked up. The pajeet marketer admin on telegram was hilarious and the white nigerian guy that looks like Brendan Fraser was even funnier. Same for the woman marketer. STA was epic for memes and being a dumpster fire just like ESH/GHOST, but the winner was clear; YFI and Soramitsu, even shitcoins like EthOS/BUIDL, PUMP(which rugpulled) and even BONK were better than STA. STA was only good to abuse the 3 epic fails and the 4th massive dump. STA did what YFI did but way worse. There was also a token once that did what STA wanted to do with the index fund and a million times better, its price was pegged to the entirety of DeFi's marketcap, way better than Ampleforth imo.
Honestly you should invest in Aavegotchis at this point, google them up. They'll love your undying loyalty and memes, even if your marketing sucks.

Also how many STA tokens are left now after 2 years?

according to the website there’s
78,249,850 remaining tokens out of 101,000,000. CG doesn’t account for FTM burn at the moment. More volume and liquidity = more arbs, fees paid out to LPers and token deflation causing scarcity

>>52540394
It's burn mechanic and arbitrage is really primitive and redundant compared to what YFI was doing.
A better burn mechanic would be something that requires human intervention and semi-randomly murders the supply, like not solving several captchas a week and not trading the token(to force volume) will kill 1% of your tokens every week to force holders to stop holding without being active.
