Yeah, all these expensive watches are mechanical. Part of the gimmick is that the second hand moves pretty smoothly. Not perfectly smooth, it does tick, but it does like 5 mini-ticks per second and never stops, as opposed to a normal quartz clock that goes tick-tock and stops on each second marker.
So if you see it going tick-tock once a second it's a fake.
But a lot of fakes are aware of this and arrange for smooth sweeping anyway, so it might still be fake.
