Apparently the sulfur concentration is too low in my eggs or they're too acidic for the reaction to happen. I'm going to try with pure sulfur powder or some solution. I'm pretty sure they're silver because they sound like it, they're heavy for their size and they act like heat sinks when I touch them (or put ice on them).

I guarantee they'll roll it out after the crash so they can present it as a "solution" to the crisis. Besides, the number of people buying PMs during the crash will be too small to have a tangible effect (with lots of people selling their stacks to make ends meet or realize profits then too).
Once CBDC is rolled out, PMs won't be banned outright, but they will be difficult to buy (saving up enough fedcoins before they expire will be difficult) and there'll be all sorts BS money laundering regulations regarding who can sell PMs and how often. Eventually, buying and selling with anything besides CBDC, will be prohibited in most circumstances under the same "money laundering" regulations.

You need to watch the Catherine Austin Fitts interviews on planetlockdownfilm.com, my dude. They've been planning the end of the USD reserve currency and its replacement for a very long time. CBDC is their replacement, and that's all they've got. Either they push it hard enough and they survive, or they fail and we win. But they won't give up easily, and might even start up WW3 if they're losing. At the very least I expect a lot of hungry and poor people next year, because lack of fertilizer due to sanctions the banksters put in place. They probably will try to couple the CBDC with UBI, and try to make the poison go down easier that way.

Better than a sluice or are you simply water limited?
Currently really contemplating getting a sluice but I don’t yet understand them. (Of course I understand them, but not fully).
I.e. what’s the difference between a short one and a long one? Gut feeling says the longer the better, but I gotta be able to put it into a backpack. But there’s plenty with a less than .5m matting (~1ft), are they even worth it? Seems like I can buy one for 70€, so won’t waste too much money, but still.

Of course I could build one myself old school style too, or just the “channel” and then buy some mats, but I currently don’t have the tools or space for it, so buying seems cheaper, actually.
Those vortex sluices seem interesting. The one by xp detectors (pic related) is quite cheap and really light , but apparently you need to classify down to 4mm/ 1/8th of an inch to make it work and my river has (rarely, though…) stuff bigger than that. Plus, classifying gravel down to 4mm is a lot of work with multiple passes. Don’t want to classify more than with my garret one.

yep i build many of them, i have them stashed all over the place in my region and i sell them to people once in a while. If your looking for something light that doesnt need a pump to operate, the rocker is your best bet.

A rocker is more effective than a gold pan but limited in how much material it can process compared to a high banker. Their very good for low water areas like high benches away from easy access to water.

A long sluice (a long tom for example) is better at catching all your fine gold but generates more concentrates to work on. A shorter sluice will still catch gold but will have a higher chance at loosing gold. The longer the sluice the more area you have to catch gold.

And yes modern matting like ive posted previously helps make things easier but only by so much. a quick cheat you can use for the wedges is to go to a hardware store and buy premade wedges meant for shimming doors or windows into place, i ve used those many times now in other sluices to great effect.

And yes your exactly right, and that particular sluice doesnt look to bad either. Solid rubber matting is fine, it makes clean up a lot easier but you will need to carry a bucket or tub to wash the whole sluice in if the mat is built in. Most of my setups allow the matting to be pulled out or changed out for cleanup, but many of the German / Finnish sluice setups are built in mats. Both setups work fine either way.

oh also the wider the sluice the more water flow your going to need. Too narrow and you blow all your fine gold out with to much aggression in flow. You want a nice set of rapids in your sluice, you want a nice sharp back eddy in riffle bars or on your bed to force gold down into the mat.

Checked.
If you are a non-white degenerate you should welcome CBDCs and social credit scores.

If you manage to secure land with a strong white community then you will be fine and you can trade in silver.

The problem is that the value of gold is not something that makes sense in the modern era. We hold onto the idea of its value almost out of tradition, but it no longer makes sense. Before you might hold onto some gold and then during a time of poor economic downturn your by then adult children could take it to the market and buy some chickens and feed.

Money and wealth have taken on such an abstract and superficial kind of meaning, with the value of some products being based entirely on whims of a few or a passing trend. You can't financially recover with it, you can't be sure to have that wealth in the future. So much has changed in how things are valued that purchasing precious metals to hold onto is just quaint. No one doing so has a significant amount that it would ever do them good. Now it only makes sense as an investment, but it makes for a poor one.

Gold, silver, doesn't matter. We've reached a point where raw materials are treated as disposable and throw out as garbage when compared to the things they're used to create. It's just a way for people to feel better when they're paranoid the world is ending and have a hard time understanding what's going on, at least they still have that gold for when shit goes bad.

You underestimate how anxious much of the world is to get out from under the weaponized USD. And your view is overly America-centric. There is no way the BRICS or the Islamic countries are going to accept a Fed coin. And the EU is itching to replace the USD with the Euro, so they won't either. What you say may be right with respect to the American people, but not the rest of the world. The days when America could rule the world are over but for the crying. And once America loses its financial control it will have no choice but to start using whatever becomes the new world trade and reserve currency - either that or fall into a crushing depression. And the new WORLD currency will not be a vaporware Fed shitcoin.

I think this is correct, with one exception. America will be unable to keep its domestic population from using the new world currency because they are so heavily dependent on international trade. Then again, their plans might come to fruition.
If they manage to consolidate power then they will have an evil empire for a time.

a lot of my silver was bought dirt cheap, e.g., i have like 15 franklin half-dollars that a guy sold me for very well under spot (i went to buy the safe he was selling, turns out he actually inherited a coin shop owner's stuff and didn't give a single fuck). also some big polynesia silver that anons here posted an ebay link to, which sold for less than spot, some euro junk i found ultra cheap, lots of medals, etc

the goal from here on out is to only stack 1 oz bullion (austria 100 corona) or numis gold, while buying the very occasional englehard or golden analytics tier high quality poured silver bar

>there's no real rush
I think there is, and that's why I dumped 90% of my savings into PMs this year, while silver prices were low. Now they're already going back up.
It would have been a lot more fun to do this slowly over decades, but the world is rapidly changing. Just in the past couple years alone they printed more money than all the previous 100 years. We're in the final stages of this fake-out game where the Fed pretends to fight inflation, but they're more like a pilot who has lost control of his aircraft.
And none of my silver is for sale, unless I have to in order to survive. Some of it takes up a lot of room too, especially the 5-kilo coins. But they're not for sale! If anything they will be family gifts for special occasions.

dunno, i'm just a firm believer in the "stack gold as often as you can afford it" strategy. you may not win big, but you can't lose. same goes for stocks/BTC/any asset really. you're statistically more likely to do better if you regularly invest in index funds, than if you attempt to time the market and be a day trader, or worse, an emotional one

thanks. dirty little secret: the peruvian sol d'oro was just some random thing that popped up on apmex clearance. the premium was maybe 8-9% or something, i forgot exactly. some things i've learned about stacking to help you along:
>south america gold is often very cost effective. think a "half oz" coin that's actually 0.67 oz at like a 5-10% premium
>slabbed coins are cool, but never spend extra money simply because the coin is slabbed
>every so often, search apmex ebay store for "special" "gold"; they often have ms-63 st gaudens, french roosters, etc., at good prices that are not found on their online store
>don't be afraid of ebay more generally, but don't bother with "no lowballs, i know what i got" boomers who have like a morgan dollar or whatever
>you can negotiate with your local coin store in unexpected ways, no matter how jewish they are. my last gold sovereign was basically me giving my LCS (jewish owned) a bunch of random foreign cash i'd collected plus about $180 U.S. to cover the difference

>>52521288
fair enough. hard assets and specifically hard money is always best. i have a bunch of net worth tied up in the stock market (total market index funds/S&P500 only) because i need it to grow over decades. you can have both hard and soft, but you really just need to avoid being that cuck who has no hard assets

Or maybe you were just calling upon your meme inventory to react to some trigger words.
Either way, you're not very interesting.

more details about trading random foreign currency to my jewish (chorney is the name, subtle russian jew name, beware) LCS
>i had maybe 30k ISK, 100 euro, and $100-something CAD from various trips just collecting dust
>they accepted it as a 10% markdown, definitely jewish, but acceptable
>walked out with a $500 coin that i put $182 of actual U.S. cash into
still got ripped off, but it's jews, what do you expect? from my perspective, the random currency was just sitting there doing nothing. now i have a gold coin that sits there doing nothing. kinda won, kinda lost

IT'S JEWS THOUGH

>>52521522
meh if he's got land, gold, and guns, he's better off than 99% of people. i personally need the stock market to grow my cash, reinvesting the dividends, but maybe he's already financially independent? i kinda doubt it, but you can't fault a man for owning PM's, even if he shoots himself in the foot by avoiding the jewish casino altogether

that's why i say to keep it in perspective. you need PM's, you'll do better with more % in stocks, but you can't be that mouth-breathing cuck without gold, land, and guns

That's just it. I don't need an "impartial" government body to tell me anything about silver when the signs are right there in front on me, when the COMEX is getting empty, and JP Morgan is playing those dump eeeet games over and over again. There are all sorts of branches of gov't. It's a good bet any individual politician is on the take, and as a whole politics is corrupt.

But I get it - you project politics to every branch, and therefore it's all evil. So who do you trust - the private sector, like tobacco? Pharma? Oil?

You have to accept that someone goes out there and does actual research and make assessments and recommendations to those who unfortunately have the power to take that info and bend it to their will. USGS is just an info gathering org. They are as such impartial. If you get their data and reports and evaluate on your won, then you're making sense. Nut right now, its hurr-durr.

check the mark on the bottom but most likely yes, silverplate is often defined by random dark/blue blotches. real sterling turns uniformly "warm black" over time, defined by fingerprints and other oils

personally i like to thrift all my pewter, but generally not care about sterling because i'll eventually inherit an obnoxious amount of it

french silver medals can sometimes be very cost effective, if you understand the marks and the asking price relative to spot (there are various marks like argent 1, argent 2, etc., that don't conform to the sterling standards but can be like 0.950, 0.800, etc) do your own research

Yeah that looks plated, in addition to what anon already mentioned the feet or legs and handles/hardware on plated items often look like they were hastily slapped on whereas most good silver items with feet/legs are more finely finished. Plated legs and other hardware or mounts were often cast and frequently retain the casting mold/seam lines and imperfections, if you see features like that it's usually a sign to put it down and keep looking.
