GME, by the admission of nearly everyone involved, is a collection of batshit crazy investors who are deadset on owning as much of the company as possible no matter the cost. They buy shares when the price is up. They buy shares when the price is down. They buy shares when it crabs. You know what they never do? They don’t sell (this is provable with GME’s quarterly filings and broker buy/sell ratios). Regardless of how many shorts there are, the eventual state of this matter is retail directly owning enough shares to drain nearly all liquidity out of the market, and at that point the only shares available to buy will be theirs. The ones that at minimum they’re demanding two commas on the price tag for. This will happen, likely within a few months given what the DRS trackers are reporting

It cannot be overstated how powerful these market makers are when it comes to their ability to manipulate things. Without retail sniffing out MOASS, DRS, and GME injecting forced-leverage onto all open short positions, there was literally zero % chance that the government or regulators and market functions would have exposed this fraud. Even now the DTCC openly refused to let any shares leave the shores of the U.S. because they know damn well they are fucked. They have been able to cover up and hide for this long and that speaks VOLUMES to the level of corruption we are dealing with.
