What exchange has a natural value? Bitpanda? LCX? FTX? CDC? Coinbase? Valuation is an art not a science.coinbase / binance / lcx / ... are useful. in fact lcx was the first exchange to pride itself on regulations. You called Coinmetros valuation artificial, I asked what you considered non-artificial and you replied by telling me what exchanges are useful. >>52446950Wait now I remember. Wasn't this the one that got hacked and market dumped their LCX tokens. before FTX bought them out? That is why the LCX fags care. I think they might not have been a bucket shop and did real volume. It is much harder to tell for regional exchanges than global one but I assume they weren't wash trading since they were regulated in Japan. Then again so was Mt Goxx. Regional exchanges have no future.
>>52447798Yes
>>52447096in the last thread, my post was discussing the crypto token’s valuation, not the company, but your bags got triggered and you immediately harassed me with semantics i half-heartedly replied to. i’m sorry if my posts are poorly formatted and not always comprehensible. i only ever wrote criticisms about coinmetro or other projects because i always thought it would help them overcome their own limitations, hence i pretty much only fud my own bags. considering the responses i got, i will abstain from mentioning anything about any projects from now on. i’m disappointed at myself because i should’ve known better, but i have too much fears and anxieties to not have my autism focusing itself on all inconsequential puzzles. sorry for calling you a fool btw, i don’t know how to talk with human entities. farewell
I forgive her
>>52447936>your bags got triggered and you immediately harassed me with semanticsNo I didn't. Nothing you said was either positive or negative. Artificial is not a negative term just an incorrect if not meaningless one in terms of magic internet money. I asked you to explain what you meant which you seem to find more offensive than people telling you to commit suicide.

>>52447798Oh! Interesting
>>52448128Being called stupid isn’t hurtful. Dishing out opinions and then refusing to have a light discussion about it by saying that they are right then throwing out word salads that nobody can properly respond to so others actually look stupid and calling them bullies while insulting them yourself is gaslighting and hurtful. It makes you feel like you did something bad when all you did is ask a question about their opinion or wanting them to elaborate what they meant.>>52448096She* even if she bootyblasts.
>>52448169Google is so useless nowadays if I didn't remember that there would have been no way of knowing. I had to check the date of the hack, search the LCX telegram for info around that time to make sure I wasn't imagining things or mixing stuff up and came across a link to Monty's statement at the time https://twitter.com/montymetzger/status/1429022560839213057.. This is the only source I could find for LCX token being one of the assets that were stolen.

>>52448441>not sure where the belief i found anything offensive comes fromThis was the point I made in my post. I specifically said that I wasn't offended by your post and want you to clarify some vague language you used and you reply by saying the same thing and calling me a narcissist and a bully. You have absolutely no idea how to respond when people politely ask you to explain your poor behaviour.>>52448501You can't even explain a simple comment you made to someone who asks you to explain it without being condescending, gas lighting them, shifting blame, insulting them, claiming to be suffering from mental anguish from their posts and attacking their character like t and yet still believe you are the innocent one in all the communities you have been banished from. I am never this nice and in any other circumstance I would have insulted you but am trying to prove a point.
>>52448501I haven’t done any of this and you still keep calling me a bully and stupid. In fact I don’t think I’ve ever insulted you, at least not knowingly. Racism? Really..?
>>52448475i’m not responsible for your behaviors and growth. i merely called you foolish, that’s not bullying. you have no idea how horrible bullying is like, since you have obviously never experienced it. a single entity expressing concerns about someone isn’t as impactful as a whole social structure brainwashed into destructive behaviors.>>52448630not talking about you then

If you don't like it every other crypto currency website is a superior browsing experience for you.>openly proud itself on having no empathy.I believe in the efficiency of markets and think in an unregulated free market almost everyone who loses money was directly supporting networks or businesses that were leaching liquidity from more efficient businesses or networks I fully mean it when I say every single non-regional CEX except Coinmetro and Kraken are scams. People here know the risks and if they don't they should pick a less stressful hobby. I expect no sympathy if my investments lose value. We are all here for the shitposts.
>>52448303Nice to see FTX crop up in that twitter thread. I guess Illiquid Global really were fucked over by the rug. And I will never get my head around baggies believing in an exchange so badly that they... go to another exchange to buy it's token. You guys seem to have the idea that "FTX exchange go bankrupt, other exchanges must go bankrupt!" without the slightest awareness that FTX was actually criminal, as in, the individuals running it deliberately did extremely risky and stupid shit like using their own native token as collateral for loans, thus building an entire house of cards and subsequently getting rekt. CDC's CEO just had a live stream Q and A where he stated definitively that they do not use CRO or any customer assets as collateral for loans. They are in no way similar to FTX and the only argument people have is "Well, yeah, but maybe their revenue stream might be low" which is pure unadulterated guesswork. Do better CZ drones.

>>52460949tl;dr is probably that exchange tokens 'do nothing' and are used as little more than stock the company can freely manipulate, and ultimately uses as collateral and the like. Basically 'free money' that works until it doesn't.
>>52461533That is a perfectly fair argument but if that is what he thinks he should make it clear that he hate every single crypto except Bitcoin or maybe he likes other L1 coins too instead of just calling exchange tokens specifically scams.I would just counter by saying tokenisation is the biggest use case of the blockchain in that case though.
>>52461533You can only stake xcm for the multi-rewards though. So they offer you a dividend for staking their exchange token/stock. Exchnage tokens are basically stocks for the exchnage.
It's over
>>52462522Thanks, bought some tokens of the best exchange (ticket: BNB).
>>52463815My KYC got disabled 10 minutes ago.Weird timing. Maybe they’re trying to slow down withdrawals. Not that I have any coins there so that wouldn’t make much sense unless they also disabled some nocoiners so it would be less suspicious when coiners need to do KYC again.
>>52463815Actually the reason it's over isn't Binance getting bigger. If they got all of FTXs volume I believe that all the other exchanges are faking volume. I will make an exception for Bitmex who I think are showing their real volume since I know people who use it and there are threads here of people talking about it and I can't say the same about the Chink exchanges despite them supposedly being much bigger. So really Binance has a monopoly on leverage trading except for the boomers with Stockholm syndrome who like giving Arthur their money.

I thought Gemini were 99% not a scam exchange because the only thing that kind of made them a scam was their earn program which was handled by a third party that gave an unrealistically high APR with the disclaimer that everything on their exchange was safe except that program. >>52470530No. I can't remember Kevin predicting things blowing up this spectacularly. As far as I can tell, he seems to have believed that regulators would take action quicker and more forcefully than what has actually transpired, easing things down gently before they take off again. Kebin has always talked in terms of a time window for regulators coming for crypto in force, and I think the extreme late side of that was 2023. Earlier action would have taken a lot of this extreme contagion out of the market. But it didn't happen- so here we are.As long as the market survives in some form though, this is all bullish as fuck for Coinmetro. CZ will never be allowed near fully-regulated markets in a Western country. And that's before the whole Iran sanctions thing and whatever punishment falls out of that. Plus, the FTX/FTX US contagion really challenges the prospects for the likes of Binance US and UK being around much longer. Kraken is probably fine if not really going anywhere exciting- and Jesse Powell is largely persona non grata in US media because of his public anti-woke stance. But Coinbase's Brian Armstrong is a charisma black hole and runs a shitty business that loses half a billion a year, the Winklevi have just tanked the only thing they had going for them (boring predictability), and FTX is utterly annihilated.
