If you're a hardware wallet newfag, go with Ledger Nano or D'cent. Ledger Nano because it's the most popular and thus will have a lot of support and compatibility. D'Cent because you want a hardware wallet that doesn't look like a flash drive. If you're a schizo, you can try BC Vault because it allows you to display your raw private keys on the device screen, which can then be manually typed into a hot wallet for emergency transfers to another secure cold wallet in the case of BC Vault going kaput. BC Vault is also good for not having your holdings be linked to a single point of failure, like a 24 word sneed phrase, which is the case for a lot of hardware wallets out there. You set up your wallets and have it be as simple or as complicated as you want with how many levels of security you want to secure it with. It's just something different from other hardware wallets that I think some people here might find some use for. Otherwise, just go with Ledger Nano or D'Cent. Also think about whether you want bluetooth connection so that you can connect it wirelessly with your mobile and do transfers that way, or just a plain usb connection to your desktop. In that case D'Cent is better because the internal battery lasts longer than Ledger's. Ledger Nano S Plus for basic usb connection to power it up. It doesn't have an internal battery or bluetooth, so it is a simpler device. Anyway, if you're buying hardware wallets at all, you're going to end up buying more than 1 eventually anyway. Save your sneed phrase securely, it is more important than the actual device. Don't be a retard who carries around the device with you outside. Expect the device to stop working eventually because it is an electronic device that won't last forever. Know how you're going to recover your wallet with a completely new device.
