For the few that do read, I always found it particularly interesting about the creator of bitcoin. I mean, the whole tale of how it started and what went on in bitcointalk.org in 2009-2011.

Gonna read this book, sounds pretty cool.

Ive only read the email archive from nakamoto institutes website, haven't gotten around to this book yet. Let me know how it is, been wanting to read more cryptocurrency books. Finished blocksize war, gonna do infinite machine next.

I can tell you this though, it's not just a copy paste with descriptions of it; the author gets surprisingly technical given his background is not in tech. It goes into the real blueprint Satoshi created for bitcoin and the implementation of what he thought would work and things that didn't make it to the release of bitcoin.

for sure lmao, and yeah, threads like these probably wont get much traction, but where else would you post it? /lit/?
Other books to read, ones on my radar are Digital Gold by Nathaniel Popper (bitcoin history) and Proof-of-Stake by Vitalik (collection of his essays).
The technical parts of it are what interest me more than the money making parts I feel. It really is the once in a lifetime, one in a generation moment all this cryptocurrency stuff. It is the wave Ive chosen to ride, and I believe it will be a large and beautiful one.

ah shoot, i have binged biz too much. I made a mistake thinking that people are literate on here beyond reaching charts.

Dude absolutely on that, people get focused on the "omg squiggly line gongo up" but the fact that, these all just code. Code people collaborated on and thought about is just fascinating. I want to know what it was like conceptualizing this in a world that didn't have a blueprint or anything to base off of besides research on an academic level. But it's completely plausible and proven that the people who made these concepts into reality were just people, even if it was groups of people it's just insane to me that dedication and knowledge of C++ and cryptography led to a trillion dollar industry. Again thanks for the titles, lots to add to my reading list, I also got "Mastering Monero", but I don't just want to continue my addiction of hoarding without reading XD.

how did the idea of bitcoin feel in that moment? was probably super niche and biased with enthusiasts in bitcointalk but, it must feel insane to be early in something and gradually see over the years of it popping off. I dont know how i could cope with that, haha.
