Averaged 60 hours a week for 5 years. Some weeks I did 100 to 110. The last time I did a 100 plus I watched a guy get sucked up by a giant auger on the concrete paving machine. He just had a newborn son, maybe 7 months old, and his wife was a nurse. They took him to the hospital she worked at and her shift ended 10 min earlier. He died there. I watched a coworker hold him until the ambulance got on site. His legs were twisted 90 backwards, his arms were broke and his rib cage crushed. He asked my coworker if he was going to die and he kept telling him he would live. Everyone there knew that was a lie. Not sure how he survived as long as he did.
It's all good though the next day we said a prayer and went back to work like normal.... I worked another 3 months then quit. We're all peons even business owners are peons to the government.
