But you still dont get it. Devs are geniuses. This is a smart pyramid. The more people buy a mon, the higher the price goes, it gives returns but there is a higher price, so it curbs inflation and helps keep mons rare.

Eventually battling it going to come into play, thats where the CP and types will matter more. So if you're a smart investor, you'll invest into all of the mons because eventually people will start buying other mons.
