Treasury bonds are the only other one I'm considering and don't know a lot about.
CDs seem okay but the rates aren't much higher than my savings and the rates are fixed whereas the savings rate keeps increasing, plus can't withdraw easily.
Idk about the gold thing but I'd prefer something more or less guaranteed to be solvent.
Shit and piss is absolutely not monotonic so that's a pass from me.

Put the max in i bonds(10k per year) for a nice 6.8% interest rate. Stagger another 75k with varying t bills. Get some 4, 8 and 13 weeks bills. You can reinvest the t bills if you want or let them mature and collect the money. Keep the rest for occurrences of the unknown. You won't get rich but you won't go broke either. This is what I'm doing until I know the bottom is in for crypto and the market. I also have about 10% in physical pms but I've been stacking for 15 year and my average for AU and AG is far less then the current prices. Don't feel bad anon you're ahead of 99% of the public.
