this type of cycle is part of the fundamental nature of crypto. before we had fiat and central banks watching over it, much of the same issues occured irl - shorter and more brutal recession cycles. you must accept this type of thing if you truly believe in the premise of crypto.

Yeah, same experience here. I worked with (fortunately not for) a company that was getting into blockhain around 2017. They advertised themselves as experts despite having no commercial experience. Year later they still didn't have even s single client even though they went to conferences etc.
It's just not worth it, everything you can do with blockhain, you can do with other types of databases much more efficiently. Same goes for financial operations, everything you can do with crypto, existing financial systems do much better in much more secure way.
