>Have ASIC running in utility room
>Deduct ASIC as IT expense
>Electricity is a tax deductible business expense
>Unreported BTC goes to wallet
>Deduct utilities from taxes

lots of miners took on debt to expand operations instead of selling bitcoin because they thought the price would keep going up forever. Or they used their ASICs as collateral for loans. In the latter case don't see how that'd hurt the price of bitcoin it just means the ASICs would be repossessed and sold to someone else

In 2022 $20 is just enough buy lunch at the McDonald's drive thru. Maybe you can get a pack of chicken and a potato. 1 BTC is still more than most people make in 2 months.
