Alright back to my autism. Like I said, WMA just processes so many more numbers than SMA/EMA (added a static counter to the inner loop of everything).
Series is 1000 items, I am running (5 sets of 200) tests to generate my times, and the MAs are 100 items long. So it just works out that WMA does more work by a factor of N. That's what I was trying to reduce.

I did roll the weight into an array and it made a (marginal) difference to wma2 (the method version I'm tweaking) so I guess that is a change. But there's no fundamental way to reduce the work being done on WMA due to how its calculated

Blessed. Be aware of the deep state, but do not let them "beat you down". This is Babylon and we are strangers and pilgrims here, citizens only of God's eternal kingdom. I seek to better things if I can, but also always assume that my situation is part of His plan. It is interesting that you mention feeling ungrateful, as my morning devotional had this verse in it which I have thought of through the day:

Oh god please stop. Im not meditating on your shitty bible quote shit.
No, im not an atheist. No, im not a jew or muzzie or pagan.
Dont dress it up as anything other than the truth, which is this:
Our ultimate destiny is eternal suffering, holding on clenching and wincing through all this pain, with the sole purpose of finding 1 single redeeming moment that outweighs all the shit if your lucky. I look around me and all i see is hell. Because thats what life is. Life IS hell. People think if they die improperly they go to some worse place. There is no worse place. Hell is reincarnation on this rotting sphere again and again. To escape the loop you must find that moment of redemption that empowers your soul to finally escape.
God is likely watching and reading my post. He knows i will make it. Im so close i can taste it. I will uave salvation, even if i have to wade through a pool of my own blood and viscera to get there.
Make use of my post how you wabt- or even ignore it. But please stop with the jew book quotes. Your just going to fuck that guy up.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you kind of don't. If you hold to expiry, then they're worthless, and as time decays, they move from having extrinsic to intrinsic value (if ITM). If you don't exercise the option, then you lose all the premium you paid to buy it. What you'd do is exercise the option and then sell the shares. But that's annoying and it's often easier to just dump them before closing (if profitable) to arbitrage traders.
Now if you're short selling them, you want them to expire OTM of course

WMT for example isn't going to hit 170 in 2 weeks (but the premium is going to be fairly low). But you could look at 45-60 dte as the sweet spot and just copy what others are doing and maintain appropriate risk for the premium.

That's Optionstrat. I'm using the paid version (for $150 a year), which shows total greeks for a position, as well as the probability% (blue curve). You can use the free version if you need to, it's good in most cases. There's also another tier which includes live option flow, but there's other sites that can do that too (maybe try Barchart for that, it's bretty good)

What you're doing is actually something known as signal convolution. Another way of efficiently computing moving averages with arbitrary weights is to take the fourier transform of tue signal and the weights, do pointwise multiplication between them, and then detransform the result. It has complexity O(nlog(n)) where n is max(len_signal, len_filter).

GOP control of congress is bearish for assets. They'll demand the Fed crush the economy to save wall st's bond folios and hurt Biden in '24, then choke off spending to a bare min, and try to gut social security and welfare.

You may have noticed, it is the Dems who have been grumbling about the Fed overdoing it. Not saying they will force a pivot, just the recession/inflation lesser evil debate is more evenly split on that side, so if they control the pathway to impeaching and replacing a fed chair, that inherently pulls the fed to a relatively more dovish path.

I'm talking about two different concepts. EWMAs are efficient to compute because they can be computed recursively as current_average = (prev_average * (1.0 - update_weight)) + (current_value) * update_weight. Your current method uses two loops and has time complexity O(m*n), where n is the length of the price history and m is the length of the average window, but an equivalent EWMA would only use one loop and have time complexity O(n).

Alternatively, if you want to use history weightings other than exponential, you can also approach this problem using signal convolution, which can reduce the time complexity down to O(n*log(n)) by using fourier transforms and the convolution theorem, or even O(n*log(m)) (remember m is usually much smaller than n) by using some overlap-add trickery. Though, unless you're comfortable with fourier transforms, this is best done with a library.

Lmao, the sale price is the regular price (except for a few weeks a year when they're legally required not to run "sales"). All of retail is like that. There was a Macy's CEO like 10 years ago that called bullshit on the tactic of running constant "sales", since it costs more overhead to run the constant fake promotions, but then it backfired and basically destroyed the company. Retail customers are surprisingly sheeplike and won't buy clothing unless they're being told they're getting a good deal, even if it's obviously bullshit.

Hire an in-home caregiver. Safest bet is a large agency or company as they should have supervisors or nurses making the rounds to make sure the caregiver isn't ass raping the client, and they do background checks and make sure staff are trained and have CPR done. But the best caregivers are middle aged hispanic ladies who you find on Craigslist and work private duty. Problem is they might not be good and you won't know unless you put cameras up. Have them come in once or twice a week to give you a break. You can just google the companies and their reviews. It's cheaper than long term care (nursing homes) usually. Laws vary state by state but where I was a nurse would do an initial visit, come up with a plan of care for the caregiver to follow, train the caregiver at first visit, then reasses in a few months and periodically at random.

Also make sure advanced directives and code status are figured out for your own sake. Make him DNR/I but allow for hospital care, this way you can fix major issues but if he legit dies then it's gg fair and square.

>Market bottom coincides with payrolls at range of peak to halved
>Market bottom coincides with earnings at range of peak to halved
>Market usually bottoms 4-12 months before earnings bottoms, and well before payrolls and GDP bottoms

When the market bottoms, everything still goes to shit for a while. Layoffs, earnings reports, GDP, rate hikes will all keep happening for 1-2 years after market bottoms.

To buy the bottom, you literally have to buy in when there's still a shitty outlook on everything ("buy when there's blood on the streets"). That's likely why the market recently gigapumped: recent announcements of big layoffs and hiring freezes, everyone knows Q4 earnings will be shit.

Even permabears like Burry expect the bottom to be soon (Q1 2023). DCA'ing from now to March will probably get you close.

Stop doing drugs and alcohol, son. At best you will not wake up one morning. At worst it will slowly work on (You) until you someday wake up Antifa. Just say "no", son.

No you can't. What is required to fix women is (((no longer))) legal in the US.

If you refuse to debate your opponent you shouldn't even be considered eligible to run for office frankly. But that's neither here nor there. I love how Maricopa country had a video pre-election that was a straight propaganda film about how safe their election is going to be, and then they immediately have convenient "problems". I'm genuinely done, not going to waste my time voting anymore when we don't even live in a democracy. Voting is symbolic in the grand scheme of things, because in the end the elections make sure to play out exactly the way (((they))) want it.

Yeah I forgot which shitcoin he was a part of but yes he was murdered by glowies. Fried is a Jew so they are going to try as hard as possible to sweep this under the rug, but if they exhaust all their options they'll just murder him too.
