Hear me out. ICP's tech is phenomenal. But, I can't quite shake off the horrible price action. I know, I know...Sam Bankman listed perp future shorts on ICP before release...yada yada blah blah blah. Tell me why anyone would invest in ICP from a normie point of view. For reference, I have ICP and will not be selling until the next bullrun.

ICP is a little different using a "cycles" system as opposed to what's typically been done.
Nevertheless, extremely effective.

They don't even use the chain so they "discuss" how to move forward and create a false consensus amongst each other. The entire thing is controlled by a couple dozen people just trying to keep the gravy train running. They aren't building a new web. Best tech in the space, price action on everything will be fucked until the halving at least. Depending how bad the crypto fallout is by YE, maybe a decade in the dark. It's the right project to buy, but wait it out. I think you'll be able to get it between $1.50 and $2 soon

I am very bullish on ICP, but that doesn't mean I can get lazy and just say "LOOK LOOK, MARIO THERE ARE ZERO PROBLEMS!" We need to pay attention to the happenings of the coin and give our input. What's the point in voting on the NNS if you just say everything is good? We have retards in the eco who want to make major tokenomics changes and we need to prevent them from doing it. Examples: Unlock all seed neurons, Lock all seed neurons 8 years, Allow seed neurons to unlock portions of their neurons with a drawback of burning some of the ICP.

These are very real issues that you can complain about while still being bullish on the network itself.

Chainkey cryptography, running applications at web speed at an extreme low cost, and a fair governance. Just pick a dapp from the ecosystem such as Seachan, and work your way from there. This isn't some bullshit dog token. Dapps run on-chain, and storage is $5/gb. What's not to love? Yes, I have read their whitepaper.

How did this ever become ICP's sales pitch? Do they intend to sell it to tech illiterate tards who just hear a buzzword and don't even have the capacity to try to understand what it might mean? Why yes, I do want my computer's response time to be 60-200 ms instead of a fraction of a milisecond. Oh, wait, it's not even mine, I'm just renting what's essentially a web server. And I don't actually get to use the applications on my computer unless I run them through that web server, at web speed (which is a good thing).
