I wouldn't say safe. I would say it's the safest.
There will be a big clash between institutional stakers and the ethereum community in the next 1-4 years. The community will make a fork where all stakes of the institutional stakers will be slashed. Then the institutional stakers will demand regulation and ban of private stakers . IT will be an unavoidable global shitshow and the last test of defi.
