Exchanges can see where the shorts and longs are, they can work out how much it will cost them to manipulate the price, and how much they will get from it and if it works out they will squeeze you

I have asked myself the same question.
The conclusion I arrived at was that I am the average investor who is targeted by all the influencers/news/psyops. Even calling myself an investor is a stretch. I am no investor, I am exit liquidity.
Once I made peace with this that and the fact that my intelligence is at or below average my overall trading got much better.
I am not as smart as I would've hoped, and that's ok. Not everyone is born special and that's ok.

I'm doing my best learning and expanding my tool set for proper decision making, honestly the most profit I've made was on larger spreads, and almost all my losses were from getting shaken out of positions

If you got any suggestions on learning materials I'd be happy to use them

Unironically, no indicator or strategy will help you. Only thing that will is trading discipline. I know it sounds simple, but you just have to stick to your rules and use your intuition.

successrate of retail traders is 2%. they are wrong 98% of the time. thats why brokers sell the order flow to hedge funds: its a almost 100% indicator. thats why a octopus or rat that randomly touch buttons have a significantly higher win rate than retail.

Why is that the case? because this is an industry constructed around the idea of taking your money. you are conditioned to always be wrong and the market is geared towards exploiting baseline human thought and emotional patterns

well the data is given by the exchange so it must be the same
bookmap is not specialized on cryptos tho, it's really futures oriented, but they managed to make it work for cryptos first, then they added their indicator and shilled it

You should enter on the scam wick you dummy, aggr trade shows market trades real time and has sound indication, after some time you just know it's a scam move (it's not a scam actually, just no more liquidity, thinking someone's trying to scam you is ghey, it's you vs. the market, and market is like weather, it does not have any intention, it just happens like rain, do you think rain is trying to make you wet purposefully because it hates you?)

It's called volatility, retard. The price goes up and down several times in any given price range.
So even if you're right longterm (you're probably not) you will most likely be in the red for some time.
