Buying a couple of miners. running SHA-256

What other Cryptocurrencies do you recommend for maximum profits that works with SHA-256?

Thanks /biz

You're likely just throwing away money unless you get free electricity and the miners were dirt cheap.

Don't have to worry about electricity. Building has it's own. And the miners are running @ 800GH/s

For a total of 0.5BTC.

Lol let me know when your fiat currency crashes.

Feel bad for whoever owns the building, but yeah, good luck trying to get a positive ROI on that. Individual SHA-256 mining at this point is like trying to go out in the hills with a pickax and mine for gold.

Last I checked USD was up 250%+ over the past 10 months but maybe I'm reading the charts wrong. Care to enlighten me?

For the cost of buying the mining rig, wouldn't it make more sense to just buy whatever coin you're interested in?

Yes.

Given that OP believes our fiat currency's days are numbered, that would've been the more sensible approach, but alas, such is /biz/.

For the cost of buying the mining rig, it would make more sense to keep it in 'fiat' under his mattress.

Don't feel bad. It's in the rent contract that it's free. So win.

It's shown that in the past , we have faced recession , and it will happen again. The debt limit and all that nonsense mumbo jumbo.

Eventually the economy will crash again (as it has done before) And i wish to have some assets that are valuable in these dark times. (Coming soon to an economy near you ;)

I pay my rent , i pay my bills months ahead so i don't gotta worry.

>>523594

For sure! But I'd want one that works with SHA-256. Mine a shitload of it and then convert.

If you're going to mine, it makes more sense (though still not much sense at all) to mine scrypt or x11 and then convert that. SHA-256 difficulty keeps rising even as BTC prices keep falling. It's a losing situation and you won't be mining a "shitload" of anything. You should be thankful if you manage to break even.
