Buying a couple of miners. running SHA-256

What other Cryptocurrencies do you recommend for maximum profits that works with SHA-256?

It's shown that in the past , we have faced recession , and it will happen again. The debt limit and all that nonsense mumbo jumbo.

Eventually the economy will crash again (as it has done before) And i wish to have some assets that are valuable in these dark times. (Coming soon to an economy near you ;)

If you're going to mine, it makes more sense (though still not much sense at all) to mine scrypt or x11 and then convert that. SHA-256 difficulty keeps rising even as BTC prices keep falling. It's a losing situation and you won't be mining a "shitload" of anything. You should be thankful if you manage to break even.
