Everytime I've went they've been completely arrogant. I'd just been given a machine by my girlfriends family and asked if they had some kind of selection pack so I knew what type of pods to get. Every time I’ve been to one of these in the past the store just feels off.
You’ll notice everything in that store is free standing, like they just moved in yesterday. Nothing is really attached to anything and it feels off. No ac or heating in their stores add to this feel. They have plenty of sales people and they all work on commission judging by their eagerness to assist you and they act so god damn arrogantly with the fact that they’re giving you the opportunity to get some outrageously expensive coffee that isn’t even espresso.

Drinking nespresso coffee is marketed as something rich people (or stars as in the advertisements) do.

It's pretty much like buying a printer of a specific brand and then being pushed to buy nespresso caspules for life (eventho now they make copies). Can't wait for them to put QR codes on them to verify if they're original.

There's a lot of rich people that love attention and feeling special by going to those shops and being pampered and putting their coffe capsules in a fancy bag. Coffe is also being marketed as if it's some kind of expensive wine or champagne.

I think the Nespresso machines are a lot higher pressure and temperature, and the capsules are ground finer than K-cups. So you get stronger coffee with the little foam bubbles.

They're both just mechanical imitations of the real thing, if you don't go to coffee places or want to save money just get a french press and a hand-crank grinder and buy whole bean coffee. No consumables like filters, and the whole bean stuff is cheaper and tastes better when you grind it right before you brew it.
