FTX basically printed money out of thin air (FTX token). Saying 1 of their fake money is 1 real money. The real money (deposited by users) went to all kinds of dirty market making schemes by Alameda (a trading entity by SBF) siphoning money to who knows where (stealing). It was leaked the money in FTX is actually fake money, that they didn't have the real money anymore. CZ (binance) noticed. They started selling their fake money. More people noticed. So more and more real money was getting out of FTX but they didn't have enough real money. Meanwhile, cascading their fake money was getting worth less and less and they couldn't cover the real money.

Then CZ told FTX, okay tell people you're insolvent we MIGHT buy you. FTX did that. Now we wait for FTX to become a carcass and CZ getting FTX for pennies or just saying "lol no". Meanwhile, FTX is dead and CZ killed the compeition and one of his enemies. Enemy because SBF is lobbying for regulations to gain politicial power whilst pretending to be pro-crypto
