I don't own anything apart from my silver stack and personal belongings. You can call me retarded but I even took a credit in a bank to buy more silver.
Hyperinflation is around the corner so my debt will basically pay off itselft for free. And even if doesn't I still don't care. I own nothing so they can suck my balls. Fucking kikes will pay for my silver.

Who is "they"? The police who are afraid to even confront a teenage tranny slaughtering children? Not a chance. The first dead cop and the police will be out of it. Besides several states, including the one I live in, have already passed laws preventing local law enforcement from cooperating with Federal gun confiscation. Do you think they will cooperate with a PM confiscation?

Maybe the armed forces? Half of them hate the commie US government more than you do. They will fracture and turn on each other before they march door to door.

How about the awe-inspiring Federal Agents? I love how this ATF agent goes from tough guy to whimpering pansy in the face of resistance: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YOInYwP8-Es There are not enough of them, they don't have the training, and they don't have the balls for it.

The chance of a door to door PM confiscation in the USA is near zero at this point. Once upon a time, the American public looked up to the President. Now, if Biden says it is daytime, half the country goes to bed. There will be a shooting war in America before there would be cooperation with a PM confiscation. The worst the pussies in Washington will do is shut down bullion dealers and make circulating PMs illegal.
And that will be unenforceable and not last long.

So fuck off with your weak-ass fud.

Got them on ebay from a commercial vendor. 60€ for 10 coins, each 8g 625 silver, so 5g pure Ag per coin. That's barely more expensive than the cheapest 1oz coins from the dealer right now. I consider that a steal considering the memetic value. I could actually just sell them again individually for a healthy profit right now. But no way. They seem to be getting sold out quickly and I don't want to sell unless I'm sure I can buy more later at a reasonable price.
There's also the bigger 5RM with 900 silver but it seems to be even rarer.
>>52231239
I'm no expert, but 5-10€ seems fair, depending on the condition. I paid 6€/coin for 10 of varying quality as you can see. The 5RM version is more expensive, obviously.

Spot still has the potential to squeeze, and buying physical increases that chance as it reduces how much price manipulation they can get away with.
But the idea that comex will default some day is false UNLESS the corruption is beyond imaginable and most the Eligible silver doesn't exist. There's a lot of factors we don't know. And Comex has a good idea how much physical silver is actually leaving the vault. 99.9% of Open Interest contracts end financially settled. So long as they have enough physical silver coming in to meet the ones who want delivery they can keep the price manipulation up indefinitely.
I still think silver is best investment on the market. But I hold paper silver and buy about 100oz physical every month. I just don't think SETF and that the idea of $500/oz silver will never happen. I'd be thrilled if it hit 40.

Correct. The multigenerational lifespan of the current economic system has most people forget what real world finance/economics is. For the last 4 decades it has been lucrative to buy up financial assets because the economy was being leveraged up and running on an unsustainable accumulation of debt. It was always better to chase yield because the debt was inflating asset prices. We are now on the cusp of declining asset prices (deflation) and it can only be offset via monetary debasement (inflation). Eventually people will catch on that the only reprieve from the wealth destruction is to hold physical assets/capital. PMs are the place to be.
I am honestly getting a little worried. I invest in some stocks to chase yield, and pick equities that are necessary and have large levels of underlying capital. However, I am worried that overleveraged equities will get wiped out by the bond holders. As shareholders are on the lowest rung of the totem pole, equities are probably extremely risky as the system may even have a way to indemnify themselves legally in at the behest of the shareholders on a large scale.

Silver is in such high demand right now that I could sell coins I bought just a month ago back to the vendor and break even. Any further increase in price (even just higher premiums) is profit at this point since the buyback price increases accordingly. Spot price doesn't matter at all any more.
If I sold p2p I'd have a nice 15% profit. In a month. That's crazy.

My dad just messaged me about his latest scores from his LCS. A few years ago they only paid 80% of spot price, but now they pay $2/oz over spot for generic 10 ounce bars. They still scrap the Canadian .800 they get and are happy to sell it for spot price, so he traded some bullion at 2/oz over spot for 26 minty canadian silver dollars at melt value and also got a nice 1937 gold sovereign at $414.

It boggles my mind that demand for generic bullion is so high that he can trade for 10% more weight in silver in the form of old Canadian dollars but that's how the market is right now; silver bullion is selling like hotcakes and spot price doesn't remotely reflect physical demand.

Kek. Yeah, just what we indisputably know about our monetary system is already unbelievably corrupt. The current system is run by a private corporation that can create an unlimited amount of "reserve assets" out of thin air and use those reserve assets to buy real assets (MBS) and the debt of our government and corporations. Its hard to even imagine what they're not telling us.
The most bullish thesis is that the dollar price is highly suppressed. I think that history proves that long term price suppression never works forever. Nobody can say what kind of black swan event will cause price discovery, but it is inevitable. On the other hand, the dollar price can't be completely controlled, or else it would still be $1.29 per troy ounce like it was in 1964. The laws of supply and demand always win in the end. I don't think $500 in today's dollars is a reasonable expectation, but triple digits may be possible if the suppression is extreme, and macroeconomic conditions change in a favorable way. My personal opinion is that while short term manipulation is certainly rampant, long term suppression is probably not as severe as we would like to think, because the manipulators still have some healthy respect for said laws of supply and demand.

At what point do you guys think the USD will weaken?

Can the Fed even stop inflation if the rate they set isn’t even on par with the gerrymandered CPI? Or will it all collapse before that once the debt servicing costs get too high?

What non-schizo sources are you guys reading/watching. I could use a no BS take.

Why is there a 200 strike option available on silver futures? What did they mean by this?

>> No.52234819

>>52234709
Well, the US dollar has been consitently weakening against consumer goods. It will probably weaken against other currencies only if the Fed pivots or other central banks start hiking a lot harder. That may not happen at all before the system collapses.
The Fed could easily stop inflation if they actually wanted to. They could simply increase banks' reserve requirements. That would limit the amount of dollars they could create by making new loans.
The real question is whether they could stop inflation without causing a liquidity crisis. I really don't know about that one. My guess is they could probably lower the rate of inflation, but not stop it completely, hence their 2% target. The other big question for PM prices is whether real rates, adjusted for inflation, can be sustained at positive levels, which would turn bonds into a good long term investment. I would say thats probably impossible.

> Can the Fed even stop inflation if the rate they set isn’t even on par with the gerrymandered CPI?
No that’s the problem. We are seeing 1970 levels of consumer price increases, but with a derivatives market that is 1000x larger and a financial economy that is 100x more over leveraged. Logic would dictate that to disrupt 1970s level of price increases you need 1970s monetary policies. The system today is straining at an interest rate of 4%, can you imagine the scale of the bubble popping if they tried to get anywhere close to 19%? This is the rock and a hard place, they have no way out. Do you know why the banks choose 2% as their inflation target? Because that’s how quickly consumer prices can rise without people noticing. That’s how quickly the parasites and syphon wealth out of the people without anyone getting wise. But the FED has lost the initiative, price increases are beyond their control now and what happens when people start noticing price increases and start feeling the pain is the central bankers worst nightmare. A shift in psychology in the population whereby people flee dollars into anything and everything as fast as they can as they fear loss of purchasing power. That is hyperinflation, that is loss of trust. The FED cannot control the accelerating loss of trust in their money substitute.

however, because they are the WRC, the USD will be the last to fail. All other fiats will devalue and experience hyper inflationary loss of trust before the WRC. As other fiats become increasingly weak against the WRC, they cannot secure enough USD to meet debt servicing costs. They will either default on that USD denominated debt, which means the FEd must pivot and print money to keep the Dollar stable. Or throes countries liquidate USD treasuries to cover their debt, which means the FED must pivot and print more money to keep the dollar stable. Either way, you end up at the same conclusion.

Can't see myself completing that series because the very first coins were in the 60 euro range two months ago, and they're probably all gone by now anyhow.
Getting many old kooks is also right out. I already paid close to 40 euros for the 2019. At some point it's just not really worth it.

Rare coins will always be rare. If you love coins, if you love the numismatic side of metals, you can recognize the value. So many here are more interested in buying lottery tickets or silver coins, believing they will finally become rich if society would only just hurry up and collapse.

A common notion I keep seeing among Silverbugs is comparing the modern price of silver with its price in the ancient era.

With that in mind, why aren't we stacking spices? Saffron, turmeric, even fucking SALT was valuable as hell back then. In the event of a total collapse of the market, what's going to happen to the spice trade?

I'm down 90% on my mining stocks, bought the top during the peak of inflation fears. Some of my holdings have declared bankruptcy.

Would you DCA and double down on mining stocks now? Many of them are at multi year lows and I think or I triple down I might make back my initial losses, what do you think?

>> No.52237470

>>52237376
I am thinking of vacuuming up some cheapies just to average down. Maybe just a few hundred dollars or whatever. The upside on mining stocks could be a major win if silver takes off to the upside. I am down so much on my mining shares that without much cash I can amplify the number of shares I have. And if I thought these were good buys a year ago, they are even better today.

It doesn't, so long as you keep it dry (or else it become a big lump of rock salt, technically still good if you can break it up).
Otherwise some spices keep longer than others. I have a bunch of paprika and cayenne pepper dated 2025. I also have a bunch of thyme but those are dated 2023. I use a lot of these, so I'll probably finish them before they're no longer fresh.
I need to organize my spices a little better. They're sorted by date, but I'm gonna store some in sealed containers and move them to the cellar.

Because those aren't being suppressed by silver paper derivatives like ETF's. This is the problem, the metals market is corrupt to the fucking core and has been going on for decades. There are reasons for this:

1. People controlling the market get rich
2. Revaluing is a geopolitical bomb
3. Fiat becomes worthless

The latter two are of extreme importance for state power, especially socialist state power. If gold was to be revalued it would launch nations with the most gold to the moon. I've been hearing that China has the most gold reserves in the world both on and off the books. This is geopolitical nightmare for the United States as China would then be in a position to dethrone the United States as the number 1 super power. Fiat would become useless which is also a nightmare for socialists as this means they cannot take full control of their country's economy. The elite who want to completely enslave us need to prevent gold as well as silver from being the main form of exchange as it reduces their tools of power of the populous which they have spent so long to develop. They aren't going to let the metal market be free, it will destroy the globalist project.

I don't really understand the rationale of plebbitors and their "raid," they are inflating prices, and thus limiting the amount the "little guy" is able to purchase, I assume the majority of stackers aren't waiting for the reddit raid to begin stacking, isn't the best strategy a slow and steady, yet constant, drain as opposed to a signaled and essentially artificial pump in price? Somebody can hopefully explain to me, I haven't seen any legitimate explanation, just APE APE APE type sentiment

Reddit is a bit sketchy, yeah. Ghislaine Maxwell used to be the redditor-in-chief, so you gotta wonder who's in charge of that place now.
Also, a "nooticer" in a silver /pol/ thread (that got deleted again) mentioned that he noticed they have a history of pumping the market right before the reddit horde goes on their rampage. And today prices pumped a lot, just a few days before that scheduled event.
