Invest in dollar denomonated stocks while we have favourable rates as even if America falls, we fall further, Bailey himself said we're going to have one of the worst recessions ever. We've got the economic and demographic structure on track to become Argentina, if I can't make it here I'm off to Australia, America or Chile.
Also invest in energy and hope for a cold winter to rip through the Boomers, cratering the housing market and allowing government to focus on real economic growth and not just propping up the largest voting cohort's largest investment.

About 10-15 years ago the UK and Ireland was considered THE place to move to from Eastern Europe.
