I saw a post on here not too long ago about Bed Bath & Beyond market cap it is so small. Now I know there's quite a bit of crossover between the stock and a so-called struggling video game reseller who's market cap is about 16 times the size. I am also familiar with the extensive research that has gone into direct registering shares in your own name and how this cripples the tactics that are used to naked short companies into bankruptcy giving the short the so-called bankruptcy jackpot where they never have to close. I am also aware that the video game company publishes how many of their shares have been direct registered. So a simple bit of math shows that within individual investors who believe in DRS there is about six times as much total Capital as would be required to DRS the entire market cap of Bed Bath & Beyond. Nobody knows what happens when the whole float is direct registered. Another interesting piece of research seems to show that retail orders don't even hit the lit Market or affect the price of the stock. So theoretically people could buy enough shares to direct register the whole float without even driving up the price requiring even less capital to realistically accomplish this. The research up to this point seems to show that when the whole float is direct registered it will be undeniable proof of the shenanigans going on behind the scenes. I would think this would finally make the price Skyrocket then people could sell and do the same thing on all the other stocks that are abused the same way.
