I need a high risk investment for 2018.

Something that could either evaporate or blow up 10x.

Hit me.

I have a real traditional stock/bond type portfolio, but every year I take 1% and put it on something like this. Over this last year my portfolio made 12% and my 1% was bet on bitcoin, which multiplied a lot. I'm sure you can see that helped my annual return quite a bit.

I mean check their blog and github. There are real developments happening. Most of their work will be revealed next year so as a high risk, high return type coin, it's an ideal thing to hold next year.

No, I respect the hustle. This is just the first thing I think of that comes to my head on these type of threads, and like the only Office line that I find super funny -- because of threads like these.

Personally, I fucked up and threw some ETH into ENG for my gambling fix (which really isn't that high risk).

From what I've seen, I'd recommend looking into something like IOTA, WABI, QLINK, FUN, or CND.

For less risky, but still potential nice profits I'd check XMR, REQ, or SALT.

ETH is slow gains. If you want to play it safe, sure. 10x is actually achievable given a long enough timespan. Not exactly highrisk in this space. Lots of shitcoins have the possibility to go 100x. As I've said, ChainLINK is my bet for the most probable 100x. DYOR and all but it seems like you don't give a fuck too much about what you're going to invest. Unfortunately you won't get decent answers here about it because people are too emotionally involved in both ways with the coin. Anyway the thing with LINK is if it manages to pull off its idea, the 100x is going to be more and more likely. Decentralized oracles (and more) are a big deal if you expect smart contracts to be widely adopted

50/50 REQ/LINK

If either reaches mass adoption it means REQ replaces PayPal and LINK replaces traditional financial transactions.

We're talking gains bigger than BTC here.

I should have said relative gains to BTC anon.

REQ has 40 times more tokens in circulation.

But hey, that could mean 1 REQ = $500 someday. If it really does go full mass adoption and tokens get burned over time then you might just make it.

OP here. Hey these are all some great ideas and you've given me a lot of crypto to look into. I will evaluate and put some of my annual gamble money into one of them.

Do you have any suggestions that /aren't/ crypto? Is the macaque pelt market going to explode?
