So yeah, for industries that can get away with it they can save a couple bucks and probably have happier employees overall.

follow yields follow the dollar, they will tell you which way we are going
it's possible we get some data in jobs / NFP that helps to soothe the market (missing the estimate slightly would be ideal) but based upon JOLTS and ADP it is seeming unlikely
we are probably going to continue lower, barring either bad economic news, or geopolitical news
the next big data after NFP is CPI next thursday, which will also probably be very bearish
I don't think it's going to be a huge dump, but it's possible we get into the low 360s in SPY over the next week
We'll see though - it could really go either way
If yields cool off, dollar cools off, we'll rally

i'm not blaming YOU for doing it. if you can get 2 employers to pay you 150k$ each for a 9-5 job - go for it and get your money. more power to you. although in your case, its not really 9-5 since you're waking up at 4am to work, so its more like 4am - 5pm. but either way, it's a misallocation of resources on their part, not yours. and thats what happens in bubble economies - misallocations of resources because money is too easy to get

but i guarantee if they knew you were doing it, they would disallow it. you're probably breaching your contract because most employers put a clause that says you cannot work another job on company time - but whatever. just don't get caught or you're getting axed

It's literally the banks. They jerk the price and shake out the popular side every single time, multiple times per day.

I was thinking about where the markets were at beginning of the month, seeing as how the dow had it's best since the 70s. Because really the October rally was like 10 trading sessions only. That's all it takes for the best month on record. It's actually better than advertised if you look at SPY $350 low to $390 high. Given the macro environment. Hilarious. I'll just say there was a LOT of statistically significant trading price action the past 2 weeks. The sample wasn't random.

Do you use any indicators or just the high? Seems that you're basing it off of the mean reversion theory, so why not take advantage of the 20 bar low as well?
What % are you risking per trade? Apparently 2% max loss is ideal, eg if you look at the ATR (average true range) of an asset, and set up a risk/reward of 1x ATR stoploss and scale out at 1.5x ATR, you can do bretty gud

Scary thought; A dude with a plan conceived way back is living the dream even with "shat happens" events tossed in his path with a green pile lasting till he's dead. So much green that he had to "burn" some of it cause looking at it just sitting in the bank seemed kinda obscene.
