What banks do you guys use? I have BofA but I've heard they freeze accounts associated with depositing crypto gains from exchanges. I've heard USAA is invested in Coinbase and are pretty crypto-friendly. Anyone wanna chime in?

can confirm usaa has had no problems with triple digits coming in out of nowhere

I've used chase, cashed out $1k and $3k with no issues.

I cashed out about $6k and there was a waiting period to get it deposited which scared the shit out of me... it took about 2 weeks. Normally when I withdraw from coinbase it will get deposited in a day or two. So I would not recommend cashing out more than that all at once to Chase.

US resident here, used BOA to cash out first time 10K this past week. No issues. I pulled it from coinbase in three parts. 4K 4K 2K

I'm talking large amounts of money deposited. Gemini has a $10K daily and $100K monthly limit. I don't want my bank questioning me and freezing my account.

You really think he would have?

I’ve done a few coinbase deposits and transfers and it’s always between $4-7k. Never did it that was to avoid anything, it’s just the way my cash flow happened to work out. Wonder if I’m flagged too

i used wells fargo to cashout about 1.5k worth of bitcoin a few months ago and no issues. i would fucking rape their butthole if they froze my account.

i think it may depend on account age. a new account would probably have problems, but a several year old account with personal loans etc would probably be fine.

What if I contact them before opening an account and discuss the situation?

Small local bank. Only he like 8 branches all in four counties next to each other. The type of bank I can call and say "move $1000 from account a to account b" and they say "sure will."

i would definitely go in and talk to a personal banker in person, tell them hey, you have money in cryptocurrency (dont tell them how much) and you want to use them to store your investment. i think they freeze shit because crypto can and is used for illicit activiites so they just want to make sure theyre not supporting those kinds of activities.
