Techies who make good money, what's the best way as an engineer (not software, security, cloud, devops, systems, etc.) to break into the 'serious money' territory?

What's the next step?

I'm talking 350, 400, 500k. Can you get this at a FANG being a non-software engineer without being a manager?

I make 250k TC, I'm studying shit and really trying to break into being rich, which is basically what you are making 400k fully remote.
