Interview tomorrow for a 40-45k salary PC network tech job, is it worth it? Other option is to keep the neetbux at 1350 a month, and start crypto trading again, and/or buy and flip a house.

Whats your job? Whats the pay? And what would you do instead.

If you have a cs degree youd be retarded to accept anything under 75k, if you are experienced anything under 100k is just insulting

how'd you get the interview? since you say neetbux i assume you were neeting for a while?

IT bachelors, no experience except a user testing gig and home lab. Also i am in the poor south (usa), which pays low usually. Not looking to move away.
>>51711936
Got the interview maybe from a good cover letter, but most likely because the job is at a remote enough location, so they might be desperate. Yeah neeting for a long while, got the IT degree meanwhile.

1350 neet bux for sure wtf 40-45k is borderline poverty you won't be able to afford anything either way. might as well enjoy your free time

I’m a software engineer at Google, 350k TC dropped to 300k ish thanks to stock drop. I would be born into a rich family instead.

>a good cover letter,
fuck, wanna drop it here? i'm in the exact same position as you but i skipped over all postings that require a cover letter, i reckon it's probably less competitive for that reason and it filtered out people like me?

I'm a desktop tech. I worked for a local government for several years for 40k and it was awesome. Then like an idiot I left for a tech company chasing a bigger paycheck, now I make 60k but I want to kill myself every day. Learned coding but I don't think I want to get a development job because right now I love it and I don't want work to ruin the only hobby I care about.

Holy shit anon write a fucking cover letter for your own sake. The game of jobseeking is all about persuasion and convincing the hirers that you’re a real person who they want to have around. Cover letters are easily the best way to increase engagement with potential jobs, that is if you are still early in a career field. Later on you get all your opportunities from word of mouth and networking.

Noted. I'll just make a basic one at the very least, I always thought they were a meme.

If you learned to code you could probably make closer to 100k doing that though.

>network tech job
Are these the IT guys in our office that dick around all day, and only have work to do when they have to set up a new computer for a new hire, and the usual work day is that someone has a broken mouse or something and they just replace it?

Their job looks comfy af, most of the time, they're in a corner behind the servers playing MOBAs on their phone or something, or in the pantry eating all the free snacks.

thatd be ideal, though the job description seems to indicate a catch all network guy.

Neetbux are a trap. Yes you have guaranteed money. But at what cost? Only your future and all potentialities that remain for you to discover. It's a comfy trap but a trap nonetheless. Break out anon. Challenge yourself. Remember why a Friday night felt so good and what differentiated it from the rest. Man wasn't made to be comforted to the point of being forgotten.

>offered a helpdesk job that comes with a decent salary
>decided to reject the offer anyway

Did I made a right choice?
