I`m staking 160 Million LUNC and I`m claiming and re-staking my staking reward 2 times per day.

The fee is not the problem, because it is only 2.6 USTC for claiming my staking reward and another 2.6 USTC for delegate my staking reward, I've already recite over 10.000 USTC from staking therefore the fee thing is not a losing risk.

The normal APY is around 28%. But how high will my APY be with the claiming and restaking my staking reward 2 times per day? The compound interest should be kick in, but how high?

I just did this math for myself.

It boils down to how much you are paying in fees for withdrawing and staking.

for a 22.5M stack, I am generating 21k LUNC per day. I pay 8.8 LUNC to withdraw staking rewards and 8.8 LUNC to delegate.

I generate 18.67 LUNC per day per 20k staked. This means that if i withdraw 2x per day I am losing money on the first 24 hours and every 24 hours after this is profitable. I should only withdraw and delegate once per day. If you tell me what you are paying in fees when you withdraw your staking rewards I can get you a better answer.

Ignore this post, it does not factor in anything specific, and is theory based.

this wont work for LUNC staking/withdrawing

Thnx Anon
I run some number tru this and it seams that the command interest isn`t that much high. 2 Times re-staking per day make no sense 1 Time or even less seams also OK.

I see you provided the numbers in USTC.. Let me run the numbers through my excel workbook

Like I mentioned in the first post my fees are 2.6 USTC for claiming and another 2.6 USTC for re-staking.

Okay, here's the bad news. You are paying fees that are way too high.

There is a FX rate of 110.6 LUNA for every 1 USTC.

This means you are paying 575 LUNC every roundtrip (not including swapping USTC to LUNC). Based on the rate which I have provided which is 18.67 LUNC per day per every 20k staked, you need to generate a minimum of 575 LUNC to break even. That corresponds to 616k LUNC.

you have 7.1x more LUNC than I have and you are paying 10.83x more fees than I am.

This means you need to wait >50% longer to achieve breakeven (my breakeven is a little under a day). With that said. My calculations are based on LUNC not USTC. The amount of USTC required seems to give you a discount compared to LUNC. If you use USTC and convert that to LUNC - you need to earn 575 LUNC (based on the FX) which would require you to receive 616k as the minimum reward for the roundtrip to do it.

You earn ~149k LUNC per day. so you should only do this once every 4.13 days otherwise you are not breaking even on the transaction fees based on the pool you chose. I would potentially look to redelegate to a different pool

If you were to move to redelegate to Luna Station 88, you would profitably be able to withdraw and restake once per day

Last comment, I had it swapped, paying fees in LUNC gives you a 66% discount in fees.

so in addition to your validator node charging you a significantly higher fee than I am (proportionally in USTC), you are paying 66% more in fees than I am because you are paying in USTC and not LUNC.

I don`t get your break even calculation:
I just change the Fee from USTC to LUNC an it shows me 99 LUNC and another 99 for re-staking so 198 Lunc but that is nothing compare to the 149.000 LUNC that I revise per day

>> No.51709485

>>51709458
the extra/incremental 149k LUNC you are depositing only generates you an additional 139 LUNC per day.

Your break even is 139 LUNC in fees.

I stake with 13 different Validator to minimize my risk. that could explain the higher fees

>> No.51709523

>>51709458
If you use LUNC instead of USTC the breakeven does change significantly,

now you only need to wait until you have ~212k in staking rewards for break even
