It's a major with relatively low cost and low risk and for that you pay a high price. So if you want a low risk stock it's fine I suppose, but you aren't getting nearly as much upside potential as with other stocks. I also dont like that they bought into a copper project in mexico recently, mexico is shit and why not just stick to gold. If you dont mind some copper I would rather go with newcrest.

Is anyone familiar with Nighthawk gold? Just started looking into it a while ago but it looks pretty weird. Gunning for an open pit mine in the NWT. 2.7 moz @ 1.53g/t. Market cap is 34m and they currently have 31m cash. This stock has been crashing straight down for literal years, with only minor rallies. You'd think there was some serious problem or borderline fraud by looking at the chart. They have huge institutional support though(>50%), and clearly haven't had much problem raising cash since their last raise was for 30million and done at a premium, albeit using FT shares.

From what I remember they have lots of scattered deposits and targets inside a massive land package in NW. It's all very undeveloped but they have some paved roads relatively close to some major target they have. The one I remember being their main target is a very steeply dipping and deep orebody that would probably be difficult to open pit mine. Not for me seems too scattered and not obviously economical

I think that cash figure is outdated. Their UG resource is very low grade and probably not economic, at least most of it. Judging from their illustrations the OP is going to be rather high strip, all those resources may not be economic. Like Pan Man said it's remote, if this project was right next to infrastructure it would be much more valuable. But I still think a mine will be built eventually and the stock is pretty cheap here.

I was comparing some silver companies and found something I think is strange. Impact Silver (IPT) market cap is only 39 million, yet they are a proven small producer. Compare that to Silver One (SVE) who is just an explorer, no production, yet their market cap is 50 million. Is Impact at an extreme bargain price, or is Silver One still highly overvalued despite the chart being so dreadful lately? Or could the Mexico vs Nevada jurisdiction warrant that much premium on SVE?

You need to put all of your money in Bayhorse Silver - its is going to moon tomorrow. I did my best DD on this company and there is a mountain of pure silver just feet beyond the main drift. Gram is the best CEO of all time, and Gram hired four (4) PhD geologist who are expert miners. Gram hired them because no one else would, they were that good. Even though Gram never bothered to get a mining permit he cashed out his shares and sold numerous private placements for even more dilution. Gram built an ore processing facility he never uses, so you know its in great condition. I am slurping up all that juicy horsey sauce and you need to also.Don't listen to the FUD from the CIA types from Eglin Air Force Base who just want to keep you from getting rich me me. Canagold currently less than US$20M. Their project is high margin and low capex, so in a more bullish gold environment they probably could finance the entire thing with no or very little equity, using a combination of debt and a stream/royalty. Say they start producing with gold at 2000, FCF would be nearly $100M. Slap a 10x on that and you get a billy mkt cap. That's a 50x! What if gold goes to 3000? 100x! maybe they have good success drilling and it turns into Fosterville 2.0, 200x, 300x? you never know.

Silver One was drilled a thousand times like some rotten cheese, we know they have 80million oz. Meanwhile, Impact refuse (for good reason) to dillute just to prove they have the goods. IPT strategy is good only in bullmarket and that's all that matter to me. Very undervalued, must buy imo at these price. As for retard telling you they lose money, no silver focused company make money with spot at 19$.

>>51702818
yes, buy high sell low. Do you even hear yourself ? If you wanted to sell, that was a long time ago at .50; not now just before a pivot at all time low. You dont know what you are holding if you truly consider selling now. Everything is going down, stop focusing on the short term.

I personally think Equity Silver is still something i would recommend people stay away from as the people on the ground at the project havent changed since the company changed corporate leadership a while back. The Silver Queen mine as well from the drilling work they did last year showed the same results as they did in previous decades, narrow extremely high grade silver near surface, followed by wide intercepts of low grade lead and zinc. Its probably not going to be economical to operate for a while, that projects been stuck for decades.

Look at how much they want me to not buy it. My stack is 50oz now. I'm poor so silver is my metal. If I can get to 100oz before supply dries up I'm a happy goy.
