I think this is a bigger slice of the bobo demographic pie than we might think. I don't get the sense that bobos are even profiting off of these dumps, none of them post trades, it's just giddy excitement about the end of the world and the thrill of being proven right. Their payoff would appear to just be social dominance on a forum rather than actual financial gain so they're functionally just Redditors.
