Why doesn't everyone just use GDAX to avoid transfer fees? What's the downside to GDAX?

Gdax has fees. There is only no fees when you place limit orders that aren't immediately filled. Gdax also has tons of bots, so its hard as fuck to trade with the trend because the bots will place in front of you. Only way to trade without fees if you're not a computer is to try to call reversals.

>bots
Reminds me of binance and the BNB for reducing fees
Low fee rate dont mean shit if bots keep the price artificially low/high

Because there's money to be made off retards and convenience

For what its worth, you can't instabuy with credit card/debit on gdax, that's only a plus if you're certain of some price action

Not sure what your trouble is. I exclusively use limit orders for one cent above or below and get filled within a minute. No reason to use market orders and pay fees

Again, only works if a big sell falls back on your order. If momentum is strong its very difficult to the point where by the time you keep setting there typing orders its all ready moved so much you would have been better off just paying the fee.

This is your problem. You're trying to time short term trades. Try setting limits to what you think the price wilp be in say 1 hr, 1 day, 1 week

They are the best at everything except coin selection. They are my #1 but I use others for some shitcoins.

Fees don't really matter then.

GDAX requires your payment to clear and your money to be in the exchange before you can start trading.
Coinbase allows you to buy immediately, except there's the fee and your coin is locked until the payment clears.
Essentially, Coinbase provides you with a short term loan with which to buy bitcoin before your payment clears.

Because I'm not American and GDAX is USD$ only but not coimbase?
