Right now there is no reason to use the LUNC ecosystem since USTC is not equal to $1. All of the volume at the moment is coming from speculative traders. We need to repeg USTC as soon as possible to restore the original use case for LUNC, which was and still is an ecosystem based on an algorithmic stablecoin. The most efficient way to do this is to do an onchain reverse split for USTC which would be roughly 35:1 at the moment. No, it would not create millionaires overnight, you would still have the same amount of USTC in USD terms and your stack would be 1/35th of its current size, but the use case for the ecosystem would instantly be restored. Dapps like Anchor protocol could function again with the peg restored which would drastically increase on chain volume and accelerate the LUNC burn. Swaps would also help the burn accelerate. I believe in order to avoid USTC from becoming depegged again, we need to hold the reserves in another stablecoin. Holding it in BTC or ETH is too risky and leaves the algorithm over exposed to price fluctuations. I believe the reserves should be held in BUSD. I know not many anons agree with that because they think Binance betrayed us but they were never the enemy. Binance enacting a 1.2% burn tax would have eventually killed off all of the volume before we had a chance to restore the peg and the entire project would eventually have died off. I phoneposted this entire thing and I'm not going to check for typos but I think a reverse split for USTC would fix all of our problems.
