Are secretive, family-owned, privately-held stockless enterprises the superior corporate /biz/iness model?

probably. the cost of going public is pretty steep and it usually degenerates into the (((board of directors))) and the (((executive leadership team))) making everyone's life, including their own, a living hell in a desperate attempt to suck the shareholders' cocks 24/7. private equity owned enterprises are almost as bad as publicly traded, however.

The operation in High River is all foreign workers. I assume they all are. Anything as long as the meat is dirt cheap.
