Well it would likely be a property that had been passed on for generations. Not only that, but their would be multiple generations living under the same roof. This way a house would he built on and improved over decades.

Small towns and villages would have been quite comfy really, at least in a certain time period. Everyone would know each other, work would be traditional or easily gained locally, close family ties.

The problem of housing near cities is an age old one. Rome for example had huge slums on its perimeter.

Humanity has done this several times. The people whose lineages survive are all the same groups of people over time. These are the keepers of knowledge and human progress. During the stage of human development and growth, knowledge and technologies are passed down over generations by these groups and more advanced technology is leaked little by little via their own descendants. As civilization improves, it draws near the “cutting edge” where the knowledge being passed down now is irrelevant. This can not go on for long because the selected group of people no longer have secretive technology to leverage over the population, thus they have no way to control or guide the outcome of humanity. It is at this point that they usually kill off a massive amount of people under the guise of cataclysms and climate catastrophes, squirrel away the ancient knowledge, plus what has been learned, then do it all again after a several generations again.

That’s because people in the past built their own homes and even had the help of the community (much like the Amish) when a new couple or a newcomer needed a house built. Now you get fucked in the ass by (((codes))) and zoning laws, making you dependent on contractors and the system to have your house built. Materials have to be a certain way, you can’t build this, you can’t build that, etc. If people were allowed to build their own houses like in the past, I doubt homes would be that expensive. All you will need is just a couple of wood, hammers and nails and you’ll have a house of your own.

>> No.51620739

>>51620728
You can still build your own house, it's just a bit more complicated now. German friend of mine did it maybe 15 years ago or so. It's a nice house too, not some shack that barely holds together. Plenty of space to buy in the rural areas too, still today.

>> No.51620744

>>51620718
>You pay it? You think peasants lived untaxed?
Peasants could sell their produce, or just give a share of their produce to the local lord.

To raise money to pay a tax in my jurisdicion, you'd have to start a food selling business (not subsistence farming),
to do this you have to register your food business with the local council which involves:

1.Provide the Environmental Health Unit with a copy of your Planning Permit or Property Information Request.
This confirms that the proposed land use complies with the planning scheme and legislation.

2.Provide the Environmental Health Unit with a copy of the Building Permit with the endorsed plans.
Where a building permit is not required, provide written documentation from a building surveyor stating that a building permit is not required

3.Provide the Environmental Health Unit with a Food Premises Enquiry/Change of Registration Form
On this form you will be able to select to apply for pre-registration which includes a floor plan assessment and progress inspections prior to registering. This ensures that your premises complies with relevant standards and minimises the risk of having to undertake costly remedial works.

4.Fit out your premises
Undertake any works to your premises to ensure it complies with the Food Act 1984 and The Food Standards Code.

5.Obtain a Certificate of Final Inspection or Occupancy Permit (if required) from a building surveyor.
These documents must be submitted in full prior to a final inspection being undertaken by the Environmental Health Unit.

6. Application to Register
You will be given permission to trade after:
A final inspection has been conducted
You have lodged of an Application to Register form
You have made payment of the applicable fee

Except the based Amish
Even if it weren't for the fact that the industrial system has made most people in the west dependant multiple simultaneous forms of addiction,
still you can't have 8 billion people farming like the based Amish, living in healthy communities and eating good food
It is becoming increasingly a privileged position ironically

People today thus are basically born to consume, they have been created by the system literally as part of an effort to increase gdp
Their entire lives will be lived to work in a city or suburb, lead a small, isolated existence compared to their ancestors, eat taco bell and slowly perish to fund the medical industrial complex, or if you will, to "eat hot chip and die"

Wrong. Earth is a test. The best make it to next level. We are in Kali Yuga phase which is the best test of the strong, Hitler being one great man who defied the Kali Yuga and much of the Germans at the time ascended to the next stage and are no longer concerned with earthly matters. At end of Kali Yuga when humanity is at it’s lowest point he higher humans reset everything and start the cycle again. Jews btw are part of the test

You can still have a gigantic house that's probably way better than that if you just take your first world income and move to the rural part of a shithole country. We got states in brazil where you can get 10000 square meters of land for less than 80 USD. Construction's not nearly as expensive either. Africa's probably like that, too. Go live your farmer's dream bro, you'll have way better weapons to defend yourself than anyone who wants to attack you will have access to.
