It's a good take. I think there's definitely a case to be made for a 5 year crab and he makes it well.
I don't agree that 17k is the bottom, but my own estimate is that we'll be back up in the 30k-40k next year. More or less in the middle of where he says it's going to float.
Above all, he's right that all of this is healthy market behavior.

He's better than most but a review of his post history reveals he has been all over the place. Telling people to buy all the way down, predicting highs much higher for last cycle than he now predicts for next cycle... Doesn't dive very deep into underlying economic principles like bonds or interest rates. Maybe the kind of person who would buy his course wants to pay for the extra mile of information or just isn't that interested in fully grasping the full economic picture.
