I've noticed this pattern too and maybe it has something to do with why poor people are poor in general. They tend to have this very disruptive and aimless way of conducting themselves. If you watch them you would swear that in their spare time they must bump into things in their house, knock over glasses, and just generally break shit all the time. Our house is detached and we have a garden around it, and all adjacent houses are the same, but all of them only have 1 storey, nobody near us has a 2nd floor.
Also our house is pure concrete, no wooden walls here, not even between rooms.

I had an interesting experience last weekend where I met up with my high school friends of 20+ years ago. One is college educated has a white collar job, while the other other dropped out of college after 1 year and works blue collar. The blue collar friend would not shut the fuck up about either of: Banal shit like TV Shows, or, His problems.
