Been holding my cash (almost $400k) in like 30 different bank accounts HISA's earning around 3% yield, many having annoying as fuck requirements like minimum debit spends, logins, direct deposits, etc (some of which I automated).

Bond yields have started to make bank HISA's non appealing, and I will save myself the hassle of managing all these accounts.

I can buy maturity dated bond ETF's (or individual bonds) with a yield just less then 4% and rotate the cash between different brokerage firms which offer sign up bonuses to hold your portfolio with them for 3-12 months. When I get the bonus, churn the next brokerage firm and transfer the funds there and repeat, this should bump my yield up even higher.
